• Geneva Community Center tutoring with HWS and more!• Career Chats• Data update—Success and GCSD partners getting closer to deciding
on a data system• Finger Lakes Health (though a grant from Ontario/Yates Fund for
Women and Girls) will offer four healthcare career days in 2017 to high school students from Geneva and Penn Yan schools. The first one will be Friday, March 24, 2017, which is GHS’ Job Shadow Day.

Key Concepts:Systems Change: A shift in the way that individuals and organizations make decisions and implement policies and practices to improve C2C outcomes.Proof Point: When 60 percent of the initiative’s indicators are maintained or improved year after year.These two things are what all collective impact initiatives are working towards. Systems change and proof point equal success for kids.

COLLABORATIVE ACTION NETWORK• Data is put to work in Collaborative Action Networks (CANs) — the engine behind collective
impact. • A CAN is a group of people comprised of experts, practitioners, and providers who convene
around a specific educational outcome and indicator. • The CAN is intended to serve as a learning community for network members who identify
and share best practices, develop local solutions, and commit to engaging in continuous improvement processes within their own programs, institutions, and the CAN.
