  • Dear Friends, Thank you for wanting to bring these songs to life by playing them. They come alive differently in the hands, heart and voice of each person who shares them, and hearing that process is always inspiring for me. Make them “you” and share them in your own way. Let them reflect your style, even if you don’t realize you have one! While I failed at my original dream of being a social worker, I like it that God had something else in mind for me. These songs are now my social work. It does my heart good to know that you are not just listening to these songs, but you are using them to do some good in this world. Whether you’re playing them to improve your own state of mind, sharing them with friends and family, or performing them for audiences, I’m happy to know you’re helping them do their jobs. We get a lot of calls around Jana StanTunes, Relatively Famous Records and Keynote Concerts for permission to use these songs in graduation programs, inspirational speeches, workshops, memorial services and live performances of all kinds. Good news. You are hereby granted my permission to perform or play any song I’ve written with any live audience, and to put the lyrics up so people can sing with you. These choruses were written with the hope that the people would want to sing along. My co-writers and I love to have our names listed with our songs, so please add that under the lyric. You not only have my permission, you have my blessing and my gratitude! If you’d like to record these songs, that’s great, too. Just contact us for the license, so that we can make it official and handle the royalties with my amazing co-writers. You’ll be shocked at how inexpensive the royalties are. If you don’t have a band to record with, we can also tell you how you can get a license to use our original tracks. Many of the people who wrote these songs with me have their own albums with songs that you’d love. I encourage you to check them out.

  • My gratitude goes to Sue Kroupa Riley and Richard Mekdeci, who spent hours creating musical charts for these songs that would be easy to play. They've made them so easy, even I can play them! As you think about playing these songs, or even “playing with” these songs, here’s my encouragement to you: I wish you strength, To rise unafraid, Like the morning sun, Taking on the day, Because when you shine, You light up the place, So I wish you strength. -From “I Wish You Strength” Jana Stanfield, Matt Wilder, Tim Bays Continued blessings, Jana For license and royalty information, or to order the karaoke tracks for some of these songs (everything on the original except Jana’s lead vocal) please email [email protected].
