My grandparents and my mother migrated.
They migrated in Spring 1970.

Where did they migrate from and to?
They migrated from China to New Zealand.
My grandparents like traveling around the world, when they came to New Zealand, they decided to stay here.
For a better place to live. Because they heard New Zealand is a clean and young country.
What were the reasons for Migrating?
What positive and negative impacts do you have?
Good impacts was we got a chance to come to a new country, and experience to live in a new place.
Bad impacts was it was hard to find money, they have to looking after my mother who was a baby and life was hard.
How did you feel on
your journey?
They were a little excited, but they were
worried about the rest of their family.
