of what you would devote your time for, during the next 40 years of work-

Foundation, a charitable arm of Jansons group. It is guided by Rtn.

MPHF. T.S.Natarajan, Chairman of Jansons Group

JIT is the second venture of the Jansons Foundation in the field of

Higher Education.

HACKATHON „15

HACKATHON „15 is organized for creative people, developers, and service designers;

anyone with interest in technique can develop android applications

It was a one day event (Feb 09, 2014) in which the developers would create android

application and model in the real world environment. This event has gathered the mass of

100 students from all across state. This event is basically to find the ideas in android

application development.

TECHGRIND'15

HR Cube and Jansons Institute of Technology have conducted “Techgrind ’15” on May 23 and 24 to create app-based solutions for issues the common man faces on a day-to-day basis. It is a 36-hour-long coding session where the first level of registration processes started on April 6 and went on till April 30. Top 30 participants who cleared a timer-based test would move to the second round. The total prize money for all the events was awarded Rs. 2 lakh.

Programme

The FDP was organized for 5 days of duration from 15th April, 2015 to 19th April, 2015 on “Data Science and Big Data Analytics” at Jansons Institute of Technology, Karumathampatti, Coimbatore. The FDP program received an overwhelming response with 30 faculty participants from across the width and breadth of Tamilnadu.

Prof. S. Dhanabal is having more than 14 years of experience in teaching and 3 years as Software

Engineer at Mckinn’s Software Solutions, Chennai. He received his Master degree in Computer

Science and Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, India in 2008 and currently submitted

his Ph.D. thesis in the discipline of Information and Communication Engineering, Anna

University, Chennai. His area of research is clustering in data mining. His research interests

include Big data analytics, Spatial databases, Spatio-Temporal databases, Mobile and Pervasive

computing and Geographic Information Systems. He has presented 8 papers in national and

international conferences and has published 10 papers in international and national journals. He is

certified by CISCO for networking, IBM DB2 for database and EMC2 for storage area network. He

is a member of Computer Society of India.

Prof. S. K.Senthil Kumar has 18 years of teaching experience and 7 years of research experiences

in Computer Science and Engineering. He received his Master of Engineering in Computer

science and Engineering from Anna University Chennai during 2007 and received Master in

Computer Applications in 1998 from Bharathidasan University, Trichy. He is doing the Ph.D

research in improving reliability of cloud service and availability of cloud resources for

Healthcare from 2008 in the Anna University of Chennai. His area of specialization is Cloud

Computing,

Prof. M.Govindaraju has 9 Years of Corporate Experience and 7 years of Teaching experience. He has worked

in Satyam infoway private Ltd(chennai),Acculogix Software solution(bangalore) and Web Soft Private Ltd

(Pune).He has experienced in Multimedia and Graphic designing. His research interest is in the area of

Mutlmedia and digital image processing. He is a Sun Certfied Java Programmer and member of Computer

Society of India

Prof.S.Karthikeyan has 6 years of Teaching experience. His research interest is in the area of Service Oriented

Architecture. He has Published research papers in various national and international journals.

Prof. Hemalatha has 7 years of teaching experience. She is currently pursuing Ph. D in Image Processing and

completed M.E in Anna University, Coimbatore. She has guided many UG and PG Projects. She published

various research papers under many Journals and Conferences. She has attended and participated in many

workshops and seminars.

Prof. K. Moorthi has 7 Years of Teaching Experience and 1 Year of Corporate Experience as Project

Developer at Technology Ahead Pvt Ltd, Coimbatore. He received his Master degree in Software

Engineering from Anna University, Coimbatore, India in 2010. His research interests include

Computational Theory, Big data analytics and Data Structures. He has presented 7 papers in national and

international conferences and has published 3 papers in international journals. He has handled Informative

Session on Theory of Computation in FDP sponsored by Anna University. He is certified by EMC Academy

in Data Science and Big Data Analytics. He is a member of Computer Society of India

Prof. Vasila Begam has 23 years of teaching experience in various colleges and universities. She

completed her Masters Degree in Mohamed Sathak Engineeinrg College under Anna University.

Her area of interest is networks and security. She has published various research papers in

reputed journals and conferences. She has attended various workshops and FDPs. She guided

more than 30 UG and PG projects.

Prof. N. Savitha has 4 years of Teaching experience. She earned her M.E from Anna university,

Chennai in 2011. Her research interest is in the area of Wireless Sensor Networks and Image

Processing. She has Published research papers in various national and international journals.

Technology, Coimbatore, India in 2012. Currently she is doing her Doctoral Research in Mobile Adhoc

subjects in Computer Science and Engineering.She has attended many workshops and published papers in

National and International Conferences..

Prof. V. Sakthivel has 3 Years of Teaching Experience and 2 Years of Corporate Experience as Software

Engineer at GS Technologies Pvt Ltd, Trivandrum. He received his Master degree in Software Engineering

from Anna University, Chennai, India in 2012. His research interests include Cloud Computing, Big data

analytics and Computer Networking. He has presented 10 papers in national and international conferences

and has published 4 papers in international journals. He is certified by RedHat Certified Engineer, EMC

Academic Professional Associate in Cloud Infrastructure Services and Data Science and Big Data Analytics.

He is a member of Indian Society Technical Education.

Load Balancing and Scheduling in Cloud Computing. She is a member of Computer Society of India. She

Prof. Krishna Priya G has 3 years of experience in teaching and 2 years as a Software Engineer at Wipro

Technologies Pvt Ltd. She received her Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from

Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology, Pollachi. Her research interests include Natural

language processing, Data Mining and Big Data Analytics. She has presented papers in national and

international conferences and has published paper in IEEE journal. She is certified by IBM for DB2

,Database and EMC2 for Data Science and Big Data Analytics.

Science. She has M.Tech (IT) from Anna University, Coimbatore. She has M.Sc (CT) from Anna University,

Chennai with 4th rank and B.Sc (CSMN) from Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore with 2nd rank. She is

pursuing Doctorate in the field of Ad-hoc Networks. Her fields of interest include Wireless

Communication, Mobile Computing and Database Management System. She has presented papers in

National and International Conferences and has also published paper in International journal.

Prof. M. Sharrath has 4 Years of Teaching Experience. He received his Master degree in Software

Engineering from Anna University, Coimbatore, India in 2011. His research interests include Web Mining,

Web Services, Grid Computing and Artificial Intelligence. He has presented 8 papers in national and

international conferences and has published 7 papers in international journals. He is a Oracle Certified Java

Professional. He is a member of Indian Society Technical Education.

Prof. M. Vivek is having more than 2 years of experience in teaching and 1 year of Industry Experience. He

received his Master Degree in Computer Science and Engineering under Anna University, Chennai. His

research interests include Heterogeneous networks and Cryptography. He has also published various

Prof. C. Janani has 2 Years of Teaching Experience and 2.5 Years of Corporate Experience as Assistant

Manager at Educomp Solutions Ltd, Coimbatore. She received his Master degree in Information

Technology from Anna University, Chennai, India in 2014. Her research interests include Sensor Networks

and Computer Networking. She has presented papers in national and international conferences and has

published paper in international journal. She is a member of Computer Society of India.

Prof. J. Priyanga Pursing Part time M.E Computer Science and Engineering in Jansons Institute of

Technology,she has three years of experience. Her research interest in Wireless Communication and

Computer Architecture. She Participated in Various National Conferences and presented papers in the area

of networks and security

Club Activities

Computer graphics The aim of this club is to expand knowledge in the application of computer hardware and software to create personally expressive, original art. Solve complex visual problems within the areas of multimedia presentations, motion graphics/animation, graphic design, and digital imaging using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Flash.

Technology Club The aim of this club is to help students apply the knowledge they acquired in their programming courses through the use of C,C++, Java and other languages. Students will not only enhance their programming skills, but also their analytical and teamwork skills.

Go Google To know the update trends in Google products by working with Google applications.

Android The aim of this club is enable the participants to develop mobile applications on their own and to train them to use Eclipse as IDE. To promote students technical career towards the new technological developments that happens in the industry. To bring students of various streams into one roof and given a chance to broaden their technical knowledge with the latest trends and technologies followed in the industry.
