At the end of 2008, America's economic crisis has given an impact to the global world.A lot of companies felt the great impact and go down with the crisis. It is an issue that weall have to face and resolve together. We will not stop our project development andprepare careful planning to deal with the crisis. We will continue expanding our coverageto serve wider market and improving our service. Currently, we have more than 250buildings connected with our fiber optic networks. Our target in 2009, there would beover 350 buildings connected in Jakarta, Bali, Bandung and Surabaya.

As a company, it is very important to make our operational cost minimal and cut off theunnecessary cost. One of the most important element is to have the best performanceand reliable network to support our customers’ business and yet in an affordable price.

Biznet ensures our customers’ investment in our service would be worth it. Our BroadbandInternet service for small medium business users called MetroNET, starting 1 Jan 2009 wewill double the capacity without any extra cost. ince its establishment in 2000, Biznet has proven asignificant development throughout the years, mostlyin 2008. Starting from January 2008 until November2008 Biznet has connected 75 more buildings with

total 247 buildings connected with Biznet Fiber Optic Network byDecember 2008.

A better telecommunication infrastructure is what the society needsto enhance their digital lifestyle. Every development is anachievement for Biznet, hence we always continue to develop everyaspect in our core business to achieve our goals. “We realized thatin order to maintain the customer's satisfaction, we should keepinnovating and upgrading our service, for example by building alarge coverage network to serve wider market, increasing the capacityand having a more trained customer care” conveys Adi Kusma, BiznetPresident Director.

Biznet has been gradually increasing the capacity of max3 Internet,the broadband internet for home or personal user. In February 2008,max3 Internet capacity increased from 5 Mbps to 10 Mbps. As thedemand grows, Biznet sees a big opportunity in serving a reliableinternet connection in retail market. In July 2008, Biznet expand thecoverage area of max3 Internet to South Jakarta and North Jakartaand opens the first max3 store. In October 2008, Biznet once againincreased max3 capacity up to 15 Mbps, it reaffirms max3 position

as the fastest broadband internet in Indonesia. Besides that, inOctober we celebrated max3 new logo that was redesigned byBD+ADesign. The new logo is believed to show max3 traits that suitsour customer.

In July 2008, Biznet showed its commitment towards building abetter telecommunication infrastructure in Indonesia by launchingSurabaya to become the first Multimedia City. Biznet built around10 (ten) KM of fiber optic route in Surabaya Central Business District.As of Nov 2008, we have connected 4 buildngs in Surabaya such asIntiland Tower, Bumi Mandiri, Graha Pacific and Plaza BII.

Husky Energy Indonesia was established in 2005. Nowadays,Husky is preparing to do drilling for mid April 2009, not just thatHusky got a new block which is in North Sumbawa. If Huskygets the result which is oil, Husky will start the production andcooperate with the government for the distribution.

As a growing company in Indonesia, the number of Huskyemployees is 20 people at the moment and they still recruiting

iving out your personalinformation to sites onthe net is a touchysubject. My suggestionwould be to only giveout info to sites thatyou trust. If you don't

trust a particular site, don't give out yourinfo. I'm not too worried about giving outmy info to most business sites, but I'm notgoing to give it to someone who just wouldlike to have it in order to see where theirvisitors are coming from.

Note that most good, reputable sites willhave some sort of privacy policy that tellsyou exactly how the information you givethem will be used. If you're at all unsure, itmay be worth reading the privacy policy forthe site in question. If you can't find one,any paranoia you have regarding that siteis probably justified.

Most sites that ask for your personalinformation are doing so because you'resigning up for something or making sometype of purchase. After all, how can you buysomething online if you won't give out youraddress and credit card info? When this isthe case, I carefully look through the site tomake sure it looks OK (I check for stuff likecontact info, addresses, etc.) before I giveout any of my information.

If a site is asking for a credit card number,they will only get it if I'm actually making apurchase. If it's for any other reason, forgetit. If they are trying to get my social securitynumber, they don't have a chance unless Isee good reason for them to have it(applying for a loan, joining an affiliateprogram, etc.)

Oh, one more thing since we mentionedcredit cards. I get a lot of people who areworried about sending their credit card infoto a company via the internet. As long asthe site is secure (you should see a little"lock" in the Status Bar of your browser -lower left hand corner), you should be safe.

Of course, you have to trust the companyyou're dealing with. If you give your card toa site that's shady (porn, illegal items, etc),then you shouldn't be too surprised if yourun into problems.

On the other hand, if you're dealing with agood, legit site, then you shouldn't have anyproblems. However, remember, not allcompanies are the same - before you giveany site your credit card info, be sure theyhave stuff like contact information, a privacypolicy, and you may want to check theirreturn policy, too (assuming it applies). Itdoesn't hurt to do a little homework.

For the most part, it seems like credit cardtheft on the internet is more likely the resultof having a dishonest employee (and that'snot just an internet problem), than thetransmission getting intercepted. It just killsme when I see people who won't use theircard online, but they don't hesitate to passit to any scummy looking store clerk, nevergiving it a second thought. In my opinion,you're usually as safe, if not more so, online.

I guess the best advice is to be careful. If youdon't have a good reason to give out yourinfo, then don't. If you don't feel comfortablewith a site or don't completely understandwhy they need your info, and then don'tgive it out. A good resource for moreinformation is the Identity Theft Protectorsoftware.
