NCMS Best Buddies Program
Narcoossee Middle School has started the Best Buddies program to promote inclusion through friendship.
Students can sign up to be part of the program at the end of each quarter, when registering for W.I.N
clubs. Any questions regarding the program, see Mrs.Chacon, room 3-115.

8th Grade
8th graders have a Free Field Trip to Osceola Heritage Park on January 23rd for the
Junior Achievement Inspire Career Event. It is free and open to all 8th graders, if they
turn in their permission slip to their ELA teacher before January 15th, they will get a
free dress down day. Permission slips were passed out on Monday, Dec. 9th, through
the ELA classes. Also a copy of the permission slip was sent out via REMIND

Duck Derby
The 2nd Annual Duck Derby will take place on February 1, 2020 at 8AM. You
can help by adopting a duck for the race. Please visit OHUDuckDerby.org to
find out more information about all the services that they provide students
and families. This website will also allow you to adopt a duck or several
ducks for the event. If you would prefer a paper copy of the information and
donation form, you can pick one up from our front desk.

Staff and Faculty have the ability to issue Positive Referrals for students
exhibiting our school expectations while on campus (Be Responsible,
Encourage Others, Act Safely, Respect All, Strive for Success).
PBIS ended up the semester with a total of 163 Positive Referrals.
PBIS Student vs Faculty Matball Game coming up on Friday, January 10th.
Event will take place for students to view during their 8th period. Classes
will run on a Wednesday schedule. More detailed information to come.
