Happy New Year from the NET Team!

After spending Christmas break with

our families and a week in Minnesota for training, we are back in Fort Pierce.

We made many fond memories when we were back with our families. Tim enjoyed snowboarding with his family in Maryland, Oscar reconnected with his old

altar server friends, Sam spent quality time with her family and little nephew, Marcus went on a discernment retreat in Kansas, Emma enjoyed the warm weather in Texas,

José spent time with his younger siblings, Jules spent time with family, and Yessi travelled to a cabin

with her family. We all had a great break, but we’re excited to be back at St. A’s!

Jesus Begins His Mission Today we celebrate the baptism of Jesus. After living with his mother for thirty years and working as an ordinary carpenter, it was time for Jesus to start His special work.

What is Jesus’ special work? It was showing people the way to God and taking away their sins. When you were baptized God was getting you ready for a special job too. He was giving you grace so that you could grow closer to Him and bring other people closer to Him too.

How can you help bring others closer to God?

As of today, The St. Anastasia Church and School Joint Capital Campaign has currently raised over

$500,000 in donations, pledges and In-Kind donations.

Thank you for the generous support thus far from our Parish & School Community.

All contributions, from the smallest to the largest, are gratefully appreciated.

Our parish has been blessed with a long and rich history since its conception. For more than a century, St. Anastasia Church and School have been providing spiritual and educational leadership. It is time, though, that we update the buildings and grounds that have served us so well. These plans provide for liturgical enhancements to our church,

more welcoming facilities and a healthy and safe environment for all who worship and learn at St. Anastasia Catholic Church and School. We are asking you to support our community’s first joint capital campaign that will benefit our

whole campus. We ask for your prayerful support for a successful campaign and your generous commitment of time, talent and treasure. We know that our campaign slogan of “Together: sharing our faith, achieving our dreams” will

have long-lasting effects as we reach out to the community with our stewardship ministry.

Ways to Support Our Capital Campaign:

• Attend a campaign event or one of our neighborhood receptions • Responding to the Parish mailing with a pledge or donation • Making a pledge or donation through Faith Direct online giving. • Pray for the success of the campaign • Be an ambassador for St. Anastasia.

Share this information with as many people as you can, encouraging them to get involved.

It is your act of involvement that will make

this campaign a success.

The renovation and expansion of our Church & School includes: • Church roof, ceiling and skylight repair • Parish Center roof repairs • New heating & air conditioning • Exterior painting of all buildings • Hurricane windows and/or shutters on all buildings • New flooring for church • Renovate administrative offices & lobby • New church pews • Renovation and expansion of sanctuary • School bathroom renovations • New signage at 33rd Street & Delaware • Renovation & upgrades to school cafeteria & kitchen • Prayer gazebo and brick paver walkway/garden • Resurfacing parking lot with improved drainage

Capital Campaign Repairs are Underway!!!

On Monday, January 7th, Sea Coast Air-Conditioning and Richmond Electric began working on installing our new AC Units for the entire Church. We are grateful for the generosity of Sea Coast Air-Conditioning

- John & Dana Langel & Pat & Barbara Langel for our new AC Units!

We look forward to reporting additional campaign developments that will be coming up as a result of generous in-kind gifts to our church and school list of capital improvement needs.

Thank you all for your prayerful and financial support to our Joint Capital Campaign.

Forgiven explores the grace and healing offered in Confession and shows how this sacrament of mercy reveals the depth and bounty of God’s love. By looking at God’s

revelation of his mercy in Scripture and making a step-by-step examination of the Rite itself, Forgiven communicates God’s invitation to each one of us to come

experience his indescribable love in the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Join St. Anastasia Parish for a six week Forgiven Lenten Journey starting Monday, February 4th at 6:30pm in the Parish Center.

Participant workbooks are $10 each.
