Seamonkey Special

January 2014

Fellow Seamonkeys,

I hope you have all had a wonderful winter vacation and have all done

well on your semester exams. Now that those are through, it is time

to get back in to the service grind. Hopefully each club is getting

ready for elections, or has elected their now board for the upcoming

year. Also, we are in the season of electing our new LTG, so hopefully

each club can attend Conclave. It is heartbreaking that my term as

your editor is almost over, but we still have a lot to go. Other than

that, I hope everyone has an exquisite time being back at school!

Changing the world by saving and protecting

mothers and newborns from maternal/neonatal

tetanus.

$1.80 could save a life.

We’ve already stopped it from spreading in many

countries worldwide. Let’s continue this, and

reach for the end of MNT by 2015!

Unicef is a service organization that teams up with Kiwanis

to help children all over the world be protected from HIV/

AIDS, MNT, violence, and help with gender equality for all

children.

They help aid those children in need, and give them a life

that they deserve.

How can I help?

Check out their Youth Website, for involvement, learning,

and to join a discussion post!

The Division is looking for Seamonkeys that are looking to become a

bigger part of the division! We need more task coordinators to help out

with various division tasks, so if you are interested please contact Jerry

or any of the division leadership team.

If you are also interested in becoming part of the Division Judging

Panel please contact Jerry as well.

Step up to the task

How else can I help, if I don’t

want to be a task-coordinator?

Easy!

Help us reach our CNH District Goals!

CNH GOALS

As one district, our aim is 46,000 members

As divisions, we want to work towards a goal

of $150,000 for PTP

As clubs, we want to come together to

serve 1,000,000 hours of service

And as individual members, we each want to

save 3 lives from MNT

Together, this will bring us to

one GOLDEN year

Keep Serving, Keep Recruiting, Keep Donating, and

don’t stop BEElieving.

Winter Inductions 2013

Welcome new inductees!

Hopefully you all will still continue to

endure on the road of service!

Who still remembers what the K.E.Y. in
