Lacy Katzen LLP would like to invite members of the Byron-Bergen / Gillam-Grant
community to join us in dedicating the “parlor” at the Gillam Grant Community Center
in honor of Attorney Leon Katzen. The room will now be known as the Leon Katzen
Conference Room. The dedication ceremony and reception to follow will take place on
January 26, 2017 from 4:30pm to 6:00pm. If you would like to attend please

Katzen began serving the legal needs of the Bergen community in 1950 and we are proud to continue this
commitment to the residents of Bergen through our partnership with the Gillam Grant Community
Center. The Community Center will serve as a convenient location for area residents to meet with our

On January 14th, 2017 St. Brigid Catholic Church on Gibson Street in Bergen will be holding a Spaghetti Dinner from 4 to 7PM at the Church Parrish Center.

other and bake cookies together. Participants will bake with Grandma Eunie Ely and go home
with a plate of Valentine chocolate treats and frosted sugar cookies.

The Alzhemier’s Association is returning to Gillam-Grant and they want to get the whole family involved this time! They will be holding a FREE class on the Basics of Memory Loss, Dementia, and Alzheimer's. Learn about the symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia, causes and risk factors, how Alzheimer’s affects the brain, how to get a thorough diagnosis, the stages of the disease and treatments that can help. Class will be held on January 23rd from 6-7pm. Call the center to register!
