Gospel Mark 1:21-28

As Moses challenged the Israelites to listen to God’s

voice, so we are called to hear the voice of Jesus and

live out his teachings by what we say and do, whatev-

er our vocation in life may be.

Dedication to Jesus

Lord Jesus Christ, take all my freedom,

my memory, my understanding, and my will.

All that I have and cherish you have given me.

I surrender it all to be guided by Your will.

Your grace and Your love are wealth enough for me.

Give me these, Lord Jesus, and I ask for nothing more.

Amen.

in the Parish Hall. Tickets

are $10/family and cash,

checks and credit will be accepted at the door. Please

RSVP before Feb. 9 at OLMCC.com.

Third Sunday in Ordinary Time

There is a certain urgency in today’s Gospel as Jesus

calls His first disciples – Andrew and Simon, James

and John. Each one follows Jesus immediately, unhes-

itatingly abandoning nets and boats and father and

fellow-workers. To what is Jesus calling me – at this

moment, in these circumstances? What will I need to

abandon in order to follow Him?

Weekday Mass Schedule

Please join us for Mass Monday,

Tuesday and Thursday at 8:30

a.m. in the Our Lady of the Ro-

sary Chapel. Thursdays follow-

ing Mass there is a Novena to

Our Lady of Perpetual Help.

Mass is held on Wednesdays at

12:00 p.m. at our mission par-

ish, Saint Katharine Drexel, 140

New England Rd, Trenton, GA.

Meet the Hursts...

Ashley is from Lookout Mountain, TN and grew up attending OLMCC, where

she and her husband Zach (from Boone, NC) were married in 2011. They

recently returned to the southeast after 10+ years of city-living in Chicago,

Washington DC and, most recently, New York City. They now live in north

Chattanooga with their two boys, Jackson (2.5) and Beckham (4 months),

and are thrilled to be able raise their family in a church that holds many

special memories. They love rediscovering Chattanooga with their kids and

look forward to getting to know the young families in the parish...if you'd

like more information on Young Families Ministry (YFM) events or how to

get involved please contact Ashley at [email protected].
