Romans 12:4-5

12:4 “For just as each of us has one body with many members, and

these members do not all have the same function, 5 so in Christ we,

though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the

others.”

Ephesians 1:22-23; 4:11-16; 5:29-30

1:22 “And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be

head over everything for the church, 23 which is his body, the fullness

of him who fills everything in every way.”

4:11 “So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the

evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works

of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all

reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and

become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of

Christ. 14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by

the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and

by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful

scheming. 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to

become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that

is, Christ. 16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by

every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each

part does its work.”

5:29 “After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and

care for their body, just as Christ does the church— 30 for we are

members of his body.”

Colossians 3:11

3:11 “ Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised,

barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.”
