Eligibility
• Non-Final Year Full-Time UG students
• HKSAR Permanent Residents
• Knowledge of Japanese will be an advantage but not necessary
Location of Fukuoka
Programme Details(Before the internship programme)
March – April 2020Online Japanese language and cultural courses(2/3 classes per week , around 10 classes in total)
• A class is comprised with the selected participants
• The curriculum is specially focus on “business use” in Japan

Special Reminder related to Travel Insurance:Since the outbreak of novel coronavirus will be regarded as “known events and conditions”, any claims related to the outbreak of novel coronavirus will not be covered, and other coverages will remain unchanged under the University Group Travel Plan. Students are advised to purchase travel insurance by themselves.
• You are required to pay for the return flight tickets and daily expenses in Japan
• You are required to follow the group return flight tickets arranged by SSC. We will collect the cost for the non-refundable flight ticketand refundable deposit (HKD5000) from you in due course
• Cost for return fight tickets : ~HK$4000 –HK$6000

Jun – Jul 2020 Internship Programme- 1-week of learning Japanese language and culture- 4-week of internship in real estate, hotel or banking industries

9 Sep 2020 (TBC) Post-internship Sharing
*Participants are required to participate ALL activities.
*Participants who failed to attend the activity without valid reasons as prior notification, will not be able to continue the programme.
Arrangement of Deposit Refund
SSC will refund the deposit to participants’ accounts if the participants fulfil all of
the below listed:
Attend all online training sessions
Complete Pre-departure Online Questionnaire
Complete the whole Japan Culture Learning & Internship Programme
Hand in a completed programme evaluation upon the completion of the
programme by 9 Sept 2020 with no-less-than 500-word report (in English)
to the University and at least 10 photos that can clearly represent working,
living and travelling experience during the programme
