1. Download SATAID software2

Click SATAID Application -> Download in the menu

Select data area from menu bar and click area name.

Each data kind is displayed in rows Satellite (IR1, IR2, IR4, WV, VIS) NWP--- Observation data (SYNOP, METAR, SHIP, TEMP A,/B,

ASCAT)

Arranged in order of time (Upper is the latest)

File name is decided as follows: Satellite file name: XXYYYYMMDD.Zhhmm XX=IR: IR1, I2: IR2, I4: IR4, WV: Water Vapor, VS: Visible NWP file name: XXYYMMDD.Zhh XX=GS: GSM (Global Spectrum Model) Observation file name (SYNOP, SHIP, TEMP A/B):

XX_YYYYMMDDhh.TXT XX=SY: SYNOP, SH: SHIP, UA: TEMP A, UB: TEMP B Observation file name (METAR): METARYYYYMMDDhh.TXT Observation file name (ASCAT): WINXMMDD.TXT

Note: Each part represents parameter as follows: XX: type of data; YYYY: year; MM: month; DD: day; hh: hour; mm: minute;

Select downloaded SATAID data which you want to display by Ctrl key + Left Click

Drag these files and drop on SATAID softwareSatellite image will be displayed
