[ Outline of the project ] The project is to develop urban visions suited for Asian contexts based
on positive and negative experiences Japan has learned from its era
of high economic growth and thus to create an innovative educational
system through the formation of collaborative programs with 15 partner
institutions in the ASEAN and CLMV countries (Kingdom of Cambodia,
Lao People's Democratic Republic, Republic of the Union of Myanmar
and Socialist Republic of Viet Nam) .
The project consists of two phases: collaborating with the partner
institutions to develop urban visions suited for Asian contexts through
the “Envisioning phase” and conducting Innovative Faculty Development
workshops and CLMV Student Conference to organize educational
curriculums based on the visions through the “Education phase”.
