Japanese Day Celebration

SBES always strives to embed in students the

cultural value of different parts of the world. To

make students familiar with Japanese culture,

Student Council of Sai Balaji Group of Institutes

organized Japanese cultural day on 11th

February 2020 in the Institute campus. Japanese

delegates were invited, and various Japanese

cultural performances keeping in mind Japanese

culture were presented before them.

Students even organized a Japanese Project

Exhibition were right from bullet train to the

quelling art of Japanese culture was depicted by

projects made by students. Japanese delegates

initiated writing names of student’s in Japanese

language. All enjoyed writing their names in

Japanese. An old Hindi movie song sung by the

Japanese delegate took the stage on storm.

Finally the day celebration ended with prize

distribution to exhibition winners.

Corporate Workshops

Corporate connect focuses on Real world

learning. The Corporate Connect program is

a strategic initiative undertaken by IIMS to

integrate various facets of real-life corporate

experiences into the curriculum. As a part of

this uniquely designed initiative, corporate

managers were invited to share their real-life

corporate and business experiences with

students. It was not a standalone ‘experience

sharing session’ but an integral part of the

curriculum. Under the program, the Institute

invited senior level executives,

entrepreneurs and eminent industry experts

from various fields and industry sectors to

share their practical experiences in the

context of theoretical discourses students

have undergone. The series of workshop

under corporate connect were:

These workshops were organized for

introducing new concepts, building skill

sets, spurring students to think like an

investor, team work and getting ready for

grabbing new opportunities.

BLOOD DONATION CAMP

Blood is the most precious gift that anyone

can give to another person - the gift of life.

A single donation can save lives, thus

Rotaract club of SBES in association with

Ruby Hall Clinic organized a "Blood

donation and Health & Eye Check -up

Camp" On the auspicious occasion of

Birthday of Founder President Prof. Manish

R. Mundada. Students in huge numbers

donated blood and made the event a huge

success. Many faculty members also took

part in the activity and all took benefit of

free heath and eye checkup camp.

Panel Discussion on Global Business Practices

A global manager need to have a 360 view,

to make students abreast with the global

business practices, IIMS organized a

Seminar on Global Business Practices on

13th February, where international speakers

from various countries were invited to have

a group discussion on globally accepted

management practices. Speakers brought

global culture to the stage. Students also

enjoyed interacting with the panel. Lastly

the guests distributed goodies to curious

students who showed interest in asking

questions. The eminent delegates were Dr. Ghassan Owens, Jordan, (International Guest

lecturer and tourism trainer)

Celebration

Sai Balaji Education Society celebrated

390th birth anniversary of Chatrapati Shivaji

Maharaj in the Campus. The beauty of

campus was worth seeing on this day,

beautiful rangoli, well decorated campus and

students dressed in typical Maharashtrian

attire was attracting every eyeball.

The Celebration started with offering prayer

to Shivaji Maharaj followed by various

performances like, dance, patriotic songs,

poetry, etc. A special troop performance was

also organized on the occasion. Towards the

end Shivaji Maharaj procession was done

with utmost devotion and respect to the

great warrior.

Vista2k20

A long-awaited event is one that someone

has been waiting for a long time. Vista is the

event for which every student eagerly waits

for. Combined with the rigor of Academics

and fun of cultural events, students always

strive to achieve the maximum success by

showing their skills in this celebration of

talent.

Vista was a complete blend on academic,

cultural and sports events. Started with

Duathlon & Marathon. It became grand

with the support and contribution of

participants, organizers and volunteering

teams. The flagship event of Vista “Anil

Raghuvanshi Memorial Business plan

competition” got overwhelming response

from various Institutes. The two events

perfectly set the stage for other upcoming

event. The week long vista 2020 completed

with rock band performance and celebrity

performance for the students.
