Becoming aware of what you’re destined to do can be hard some-
times, and it can be even harder when you know what you want ear-
ly in life, -you don’t won’t to take any chances. So today Jasmine
Turner will explain all the details on how to change your destiny.
“YOUR DESTINY “YOUR DESTINY “YOUR DESTINY “YOUR DESTINY
IS IN YOUR IS IN YOUR IS IN YOUR IS IN YOUR
HANDS!” Jasmine HANDS!” Jasmine HANDS!” Jasmine HANDS!” Jasmine
Turner said. Turner said. Turner said. Turner said.
The
third
step is to appreciate who you are and accept
it! There is no point going through life hating
yourself, the more clear you are with yourself
about your feelings the easier it will be to live
your whole life with excitement and ease.
That’s a dream come true!
The last step is to believe and hand out hope.
You know how hard it is to have a bad day. You
know how hard it is to live life to the full, so
stop. Take deep breaths.
Go one step at a time.
That’s how your destiny
will change, look for the
details, help those in
need and believe.
The second step is
to be aware of oth-
ers, help people out
and be honest, most
things to with destiny re-
volve around relation-
ships with your family
and the people you see
often, by helping people
you could change your:
Friends
Popularity
Classroom evaluations
(this makes teachers
easier to talk
to)
Decisions and
time frames
The first step to changing your destiny is to
know what you want to change, by becoming
aware of your status in life as quickly as you can,
will help make goals for yourself and your life,
the most important step in order to change
your destiny.
H ave you ever become curious about
the phenomenon of choices? Has
this curiosity ever lead you wondering in awe of
how your decisions effect your future? By making
‘usual’ decisions you could be changing familiar
achievements into unique choices and transform
your life for the better.
Destiny is what is bound to happen and chance
is like luck, you win some you lose some, today
while interviewing the two girls we stumbled
across this question,
“I believe that chance and destiny is like a psy-
chic, they spend a lot of time working things out
for us so it’s not going to be a whole lot of gibber-
ish” Miriam quoted.
Whilst Amelia quoted,
“I believe it is, if I had of chosen not to do after
school activities I would not have as many things
to do, it would give me more time to do more
things and hang out with my friends more often,
so yeah I believe.”
Miriam also spoke to me about her new dog Opal,
“Getting a dog was a big deal for me; my Mum
made the de-
cision, her
names Opal. I
also have a
cat Mega-
watti.”
Chance and Destiny Chance and Destiny Chance and Destiny Chance and Destiny Is it real?Is it real?Is it real?Is it real?
Jasmine Turner interviews
Miriam Wilkins and Amelia Mazza-
Downie, who changed their
destinies in the most unexpected ways.
Have you ever had a quick gossip about
someone behind their back? A laugh at the
girl with the orange hair, how can that relate
to chance and destiny you ask? EASY! Just im-
agine you had a friend Tina, she had just
moved her from America but you guys go
way back, she used to be really pretty. On
her first day she is wearing a disgusting or-
ange shirt and plaid pants, you and your other
popular friends start making jokes about her
and call her names. It starts to spread. Every
one at the school starts gossiping behind her
back, eventually she finds out you started it
and tells the principal, KARMA MUCH?! You
get expelled and go to an awful school. That
my friend is destiny, and yet it was so easy to
change! “I think that whatever you say can
have a huge impact on your destiny. It (what
you say) can spread very quickly without you
noticing and before you know it you’re in
trouble.
I think that this is chance and destiny because
if this person didn’t make a decision to dob
you wouldn’t have been in the principal’s of-
fice.” Amelia decided.

A tree falls down firmly in the soft
grass. The rain is heavily falling down
but the employees don’t pause. The
tree whispers in the breeze of the oth-
er solitary trees. A man driving a fork-
lift heaves the fallen tree onto a trailer
and they drive off, happy with their
days work. This is how tattslotto be-
gins.
A woman sits impatiently at the com-
puter, hoping that the results will
come through. “I didn’t pay one hun-
dred dollars for nothing,” she mutters
to herself. Her computer screen fades
to black, the lights in her house flicker
from dim yellow, black is surrounding
her. “NOT AGAIN!” She screams,
glancing down at the unopened mail
from 3 weeks ago, she sees a bright
yellow envelope. A disconnection
warning, she didn’t need this now. She
didn’t have the money. Too much
money had gone into her tattslotto.
Money that she didn’t have. Going to
get a glass a water she remembers, the
water was disconnected as well.
Gambling can be a big problem. But is
tattslotto? When people think of addic-
tions gambling is one of the first things
that come up. Tattslotto is less often
mentioned. But could this ‘game’ become a
part time war zone?

When people are addicted to something, the do it
all the time. You could be addicted to anything,
whether it is a sport, smoking, alcohol or even a
type of lolly. The only problem is that becoming ad-
dicted to something is getting more and more com-
mon. Tattslotto is a small sheet of paper with a va-
riety of numbers. You can mark between 7-20 num-
bers on a basic Saturday draw. Once you get your
ticket you need to mark off the numbers that you
want to pick and wait patiently for the lottery draw.
People have debates about whether you can be ad-
dicted to something like the lottery, but its com-
pletely true, because lottery is a type of gambling.
In conclusion lottery can start out as a basic want
and end up in the wrong spot. Gambling may result
in becoming poor at the times you need it most.

History
The history of my list is that I want
something to strive for and it gives my
a reason to do things I normally would-
n’t have been able too. I decided to do
it with my friends so that I’d remem-
ber them forever and we can do some
things together.
How to write the list
Step 1; Gather together some of your
closest friends and brainstorm some
ideas of what you could put
Step 2: Write down as many things as
you can to do before your 21.
Step 3: Tick off the list as you do them!
Yahhh! Your done!
Kate Grant Kate Grant Kate Grant Kate Grant tells us all about her destiny list.
Upon arriving to interview some students of
Wembley’s 6B I surveyed the class on what they
would change about their destiny if they could. The
results were easily changed into a pie chart using
fractions, decimals and percentages ( something
the kids know quite a lot about) and put it into a
pie graph
with the
results.
This was
the final
product.
