Hibiscus tea has hormones to slow down constrictions of blood vessels and antioxidants

to help to open arteries in high blood pressure patients. People with high blood pressure

have a higher risk for heart disease, stroke and dying from cardiovascular disease. A few

studies have been carried out on the effect of drinking hibiscus tea on high blood

pressure.
