What is a “Project”?

• Temporary - Every project has a beginning and an end. Project duration is finite.

• Unique - The product or service is different from other products and services.

A temporary endeavor undertaken to create a uniqueproduct or service. A means to respond to those

objectives that cannot be addressed within the organization’s normal operational limits.
