• 1928: The John Bean Spray Pump Company acquired Anderson Barngrover, maker of Rotary Sterilizers, Fillers and other fruit processing equipment
• 1945: FMC invests in and eventually acquires all of
IMC, a consortium including the Continental Can Company in St. Niklaas Belgium. - Rotaries, Continental Closers, Fillers, and other
Canning equipment sold throughout the world. - In 1990 started manufacturing Retorts and ABRS to
complete the sterilization portfolio.
• 1975: Molenaar in South Africa introduces competitive Rotary Sterilizer. Makes significant headway from 2000 forward
• 1982: San Jose manufacturing moved to Madera. CA
• 2012: JBT acquires Molenaar Rotary Product Line and merges into South African operation.

apprentice will be declared a Journeyman JBT has control over declaring when Journeyman status achieved.
The Program – The Apprenticeship and Program Expected Outcome – 4 years.

All units would apply to an AS degree. Participating employees would be expected to commit working for JBT an additional four (4) years.
