Jet City Amplification partner/founder Mike Soldano has an amazingly reputable background. His search for great guitar amp tone started in the early 1980’s. His quest for tone and tenacity started to pay off by the Summer of 1988 when Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, and The Scorpions ordered their Soldano amps and from there, the floodgates opened. Owned by some of the world’s most prominent guitarists, Soldano amps now grace the most prestigious concert stages and recording studios. Mike realized that most guitarists did not have the financial wherewithal to own a hand made or custom built boutique amp. But nonetheless these everyday guitarists still desired to achieve the tone of their favorite guitar slinging heroes. That is when Mike and two of his good industry buddies got together to create Jet City Amplification. Now nearly anyone can afford great tone and one of Mike Soldano’s legendary designed guitar amplifiers.
