Internet Censorship On FastTrack in USA by Matt Callaway Jefferson Times RED ALERT! Your right of free speech is under attack! Your right to access information is under attack! With rampant government corruption driving the rapid erosion of freedom in our society, more people than ever are becoming interested in what’s really going on. Those guilty of treason have a vested interest in concealing their crimes. The free internet as we know it makes it very easy to spread information detailing the criminal activity of doubleagent politicians. In a desperate attempt to push back the mass awakening of the people, the federal government is franticly trying to ram through several draconian internet censorship programs and strategies. The National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace This newest proposed plan, if implemented, will restrict your ability to surf the web anonymously. Their plan is at first tricking people to sign up voluntary, but eventually all internet users will be forced into the database, using personal identification numbers to track every individuals online activity. The TransPacific Partnership (TPP) This international trade treaty has been planned out exclusively in secret meetings that were even attended by Obama himself. The overtly secretive nature of this agreement has raised alarm, and groups have called on Wikileaks to obtain and release these secret documents. There were even offers of up to $72,000 reward to Wikileaks if they were able to get this data. Wikileaks did not disappoint and released the chapter of the document that addresses "intellectual property". It puts legal pressure on internet service providers to act as "police", monitoring every click for copyright infringement and more. Giving key of internet to UN United States is set to hand over the key internet domain functions to the United Nations. This is to prevent Americans from forcing our Government to restore the internet once it is shut down. This is admitted directly on the United Nations own website https://www.un.org/News/Press/docs/2014/sgsm15713.doc.htm Lies, Trickery from FCC Commissioner May 7, Mignon Clybourn, Commissioner for the Federal Communications Commission, posted a statement on the FCC's own website (fcc.gov). In his statement he acknowledges that he has been recently contacted by "Over 100,000 Americans" regarding the FCC's new proposal to end 'net neutrality', an internet standard to assure that all data is treated equally online. FCC wants to give large corporations 'internet fast lanes' for their data. If you are not a large corporation, this translates to ramping down the data speed for your content, thus making it less accessible to the public. In his statement, Clybourn claims that he has an "unwavering commitment" to the "independence" of the "free and open internet", and assures that with his oversight, Americans have nothing to worry about. In fact he claims that allowing the FCC to remove the equality standards will help to make the net even more free. Just trust Mignon Clybourn. He's a government official so he couldn't lie, right? Even though it defies reason, Clybourn insists on claiming that 2+2=5, and all those emails to the FCC really meant something to him. What a nice guy. I guess we really don't have anything to worry about. The Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act "CISPA is a dangerous "cybersecurity" bill that would grant companies more power to obtain "threat" information (such as from private communications of users) and to disclose that data to the government without a warrant including sending data to the National Security Agency. April 15,2013, CISPA passed by the House of Representatives. We need to make our opposition loud and clear as the battle moves to the Senate. Demand your Senators to oppose this bill" https://action.eff.org/o/9042/p/dia/action/public/?action_KEY=9048 PROTECT IP Act (PIPA) & Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) The Internet blacklist legislation—known as PROTECT IP Act (PIPA) in the Senate and Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) in the House, was seemingly defeated in 2012 after a mass public outcry. 103,785 Americans signed petitions in protest on the White House's website, and 7,000 websites including Wikipedia, Google, and Mozilla coordinated "service blackouts" in protest of the proposed legislation. The moral of this story is that attacks on internet freedom will not stop but only increase. Right now, Americans internet freedom, and general freedom overall is in greater danger than ever before. The choice is yours, whether to get involved now in the fight for liberty, or prepare to enter a new dark age of total censorship, loss of rights, and complete government tyranny. Why We’re No Longer Number One by Ron Paul ronpaulinstitute.org Last week World Bank economists predicted that China would soon displace the United States as the world’s largest economy. The fact that this onetime economic basket case is now positioned to surpass the US is one more sign of the damage done to American prosperity by welfare, warfare, corporatism, and fiat money. Some commentators have predicted that China’s reign as the world’s largest economy would not last long. This may be true. While China has made great strides since adopting freemarket reforms in the 1970s, China is still run by an authoritarian government whose economic policies distort the market in order to benefit statefavored industries. These statefavored businesses are often controlled by politicallypowerful individuals. What many of these commentators fail to notice is that the American government pursues many of the same flawed policies as the Chinese. For example, because of the increase in regulations, subsidies, and bailouts, many American businesses are putting more resources into manipulating the political process than producing goods and services desired by consumers. Many big businesses even lobby Congress and the federal bureaucracy for new regulations on their industries. They do this because big business can more easily absorb the costs of complying with the new regulations that force their smaller competitors out of business. China is regularly criticized by American protectionists for subsidizing its export industries. However, the US government does the same thing via programs such as the ExportImport Bank. China is also criticized for manipulating the value of its currency to make its exports more attractive to foreign consumers. This may well be true, but China is hardly unique in this respect. Throughout its history, the Federal Reserve has manipulated both the domestic and international economy, often working in partnership with foreign central banks. The Federal Reserve’s inflationary policies benefit big banks, politicallyconnected businesses, and bigspending politicians at the expense of the American people. Anyone interested in helping improve the American people’s economic situation should focus on changing America’s monetary policy, not China’s. Ironically, many of the same politicians who denounce China’s monetary policy benefit from Chinese purchases of America’s debt. If China stopped making large purchases of US debt, the Federal Reserve would be forced to monetize even more debt, thus risking hyperinflation. So the best thing Congress could do to make it more difficult for China to manipulate the global economy is cut federal spending. One advantage China has over the US is that the Chinese government does not waste money on a hyper interventionist foreign policy. The United States government spent approximately $752 billion on the military in fiscal year 2013. In contrast, China spent approximately $188 billion. While China may be increasing its military spending, it has a long way to go to catch up to the United States. It is difficult to see how the American people, other than those who run or work for the militaryindustrial complex, benefit from this spending. Military spending, like all government spending, hampers private sector growth by taking resources away from investors, entrepreneurs, and consumers while contributing significantly to the national debt. In contrast, a return to the policy of peace and free trade would allow those resources to be used by entrepreneurs to create new businesses and new jobs. News that China is soon to surpass the United States as the largest economy in the world is a stark reminder of how the American people are harmed by the welfare warfare state, crony capitalism, and fiat currency. The only way to avoid continuing collapse is to finally reject an interventionist foreign policy, stop bailing out and subsidizing politically powerful industries, and restore a free market in money. JEFFERSON TIMES | May 11 24, 2014 50¢ Obama Files to Dismiss Rand PaulFreedomWorks NSA Lawsuit by Jacqueline Bodnar freedomworks.org Washington, DC In hopes it would go unnoticed over the weekend, the Obama Administration filed a motion to dismiss the Rand PaulFreedomWorks lawsuit that would end the government’s warrantless NSA spying program on American citizens. The lead counsel on the case is former Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli. “Obama's motion to dismiss our lawsuit is an insulting display of political arrogance coming out of the executive branch,” commented Matt Kibbe, President of FreedomWorks. “It should really be called a motion to censor civilians. It wasn't enough that the Obama Administration authorized the single largest warrantless gathering of citizen’s private information in the history of the United States. They don’t even believe citizens deserve an opportunity to plead their case after their rights have been violated. The Obama Administration can try to use legal muscle to silence Americans, but we will be heard.” Senator Rand Paul added, "I remain fully committed to this lawsuit and look forward to having our day in court. The American people deserve better than warrantless surveillance and domestic spying." Latest NewsFEC Chair: Government

Seeks to RegulateConservative Media Via

Election LawsAdan Salazarinfowars.comThe federal government may soon try to use electionlaws to stifle the freedom of the press and online dissentfrom purveyors of socalled “rightwing” news, thechairman of the Federal Election Commission haswarned. In an interview with the Washington Examiner, FECChairman Lee. E. Goodman said that governmentofficials are feeling pressured to align their interests withthose of “conservative publishers,” eroding the “left’smedia monopoly." “I think there are impulses in thegovernment every day to second guess and look into theeditorial decisions of conservative publishers,” Goodmantold Examiner editor Paul Bedard.Media outlets, like political action committees, have longbeen exempt from FEC rules and to this point have beenfree to endorse or attack whichever candidate theychoose, however, with the advent of the Internet, thegovernment has witnessed the news landscape tilt infavour of conservative media. “The right has begun tobreak the left’s media monopoly, particularly through newmedia outlets like the internet, and I sense that some on

the left are starting to rethink the breadth of the mediaexemption and internet communications,” Goodman said.Pointing to the highly influential Drudge Report,Goodman says there may soon come a time whenexemptions are selectively enforced now thatindependent sites “can compete with the big boys..”“[It] matters to me because I see the future going to thedemocratization of media largely through the internet. They can compete with the big boys now, and I haveseen storm clouds that the second you start to regulatethem, there is at least the possibility or indeed proclivityfor selective enforcement, so we need to keep the mediafree and the internet free,” Goodman stated.Goodman also highlighted recent examples of the federalgovernment’s selective enforcement of FEC regulations, citing the targeting of Fox host Sean Hannity’s radioprogram and the conservative nonprofit Citizens United, who it was ruled met the exemption’s definitions of“expenditure” and “electioneering communication."“The picking and choosing has started to occur,” saysGoodman, adding that he is “concerned about disparatetreatment of conservative media."“There are some in this building that think we can actuallyregulate” the media, Goodman claimed. “Truth be told, Iwant conservative media to have the same exemption asall other media.”Conservative outlets communicating “unregulated..information” has been a problem for the Democratestablishment since the days of President Clinton. Earlyon, as evidenced in documents recently published from

the Clinton presidential library, the Internet was beingviewed by the federal government as a “communicationstream of conspiracy commerce.”“The right wing has seized upon the internet as a meansof communicating its ideas to the people. Moreoverevidence exists that Republican staffers surf the internetinteracting with extremists in order to exchange ideasand information,” the 1995 report entitled TheCommunication Stream of Conspiracy stated. The latest threat to the First Amendment is a throwbackto the nowdefunct Fairness Doctrine, and illustratesclearly the devastating effect real, unfiltered newsoutlets, such as Infowars.com, are having on theestablishment media’s ability to effectively propagateWhite House talking points. That the government wishes it had more control over theInternet is made apparent by a White House reportentitled “National Strategy for Trusted Identities inCyberspace,” which among other things, seeks to“replace the current system of using passwords toaccess sensitive online accounts with something akin toa biometric ID card that would link one individual to alltheir government services, such as food stamps, welfareas well as a myriad of other things like mortgageapplications and applications for licenses,” according toPaul Joseph Watson.Recently proposed media “shield laws” protecting“covered” journalists are yet another method by whichthe federal government could possibly attempt toregulate the freedom of the press.

Everybody Loves Chicago Bag Ban,Until It Actually Happens

Jefferson TimesWHAT? Who passed what to ban plastic bags in Chicago? First light bulbs, nowbags?! What’s next? glass bottles? gas cars? single family homes? American Flags?Do you want me to keep going? I couldn't believe I was hearing this, but theneveryone I talk to already knew, and thinks its no big deal. I'm still in shock andpeoples reaction to this is equally shocking. There are exemptions for restaurants andsmall businesses, but I'm sure they couldn't have passed it otherwise due to theobviously outrageous nature of this law. Retailers bag costs are estimated to doubleor triple as a result. This price increase will undoubtedly be carried down toconsumers. 36 vs 10 Chicago Aldermen voted for the ban. How did your Aldermanvote? The ban is set to take effect Aug 2015. I have to wonder if this is isn't influencedby the the UN's covert plan for world domination disguised as environmentalismthrough the implementation of Agenda 21. This is plausible considering many of ourlaws are being influenced by this secret agenda every day. For more info aboutAgenda 21 visit http://www.democratsagainstunagenda21.com/

Chicago Teachers Union Rejects Common CoreJefferson TimesMay 7 the Chicago Teachers Union voted in opposition of the federally mandated educationstandard named 'Common Core'. Karen Lewis, President of CTU said, “I agree with educators andparents from across the country, the Common Core mandate represents an overreach of federalpower into personal privacy as well as into state educational autonomy,” The CTU says it will petitionthe Illinois Board Of Education to “eliminate the use of the Common Core for teaching andassessment” and also “work to organize other members and affiliates to increase opposition to thelaw that increases the expansion of nationwide controls over educational issues.”.

Common Core is Agenda 21democratsagainstunagenda21.comCommon Core is an integral part of UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development: globalization is thestandardization of systems. Whether the system is law enforcement or land use or government, thestandardization, harmonization, and integration of all international methods of management isessential for total control.Education is the flash point for embedding system acceptance in all sectors of the population.Standardized propaganda is developed for prekindergarten to post graduate school; this is what ismeant by 'Life Long Learning.'Breaking down traditional methods of learning in order to resocialize the populace is the goal.Obedient, dependent people who are constantly being propagandised will provide the 'humancapital' to fully implement UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development.Regardless of the content of this nationalized and internationalized system of behaviouralmodification, the goal and outcome will be to fundamentally destroy the individual's rights.
