Here are some examples of the U.S.P.S.fuining special pictorial cancellations.Incidentally these particular pictorial cancellations illustrate one lesson we
have learned at Batsto which may benefit other designers of special pictorial postmarks, i.e., putting the Zip Code in large numbers at the bottom of the design, mayresult in the cover returning to the sending P.O., particulary if small peelable'ab~ls are used as self addresses. .
(Ed.Note: The safest way to try and avoid this problem, is to splurge foran extra stamp on an S.A.S.E. to return the cancels to you under protective cover).
