You Exercised Compassion...

It has been a busy year. The coronavirus pandemic led us to adapt our ministry strategies. It has actually allowed us to find new ideas for sharing the gospel, and served as a springboard to win new souls. We were trained by the government health department on how to prevent the virus. We presented our knowledge and raised COVID-19 awareness before each screening of the film. This made it possible to multiply the number of showings by three!

We have also helped build temporary shelters for new Christians to gather. After showings, our emphasis has been on discipleship using orality tools, which is ongoing.

The JESUS film material is a strong tool that helps win souls to Christ. We thank the Lord for these resources which allow us to be where people need us.

RebornYou Reaped Fruit from Hard Soil...

Due to a leadership crisis, a church in Caacupemi, Paraguay was forced to close its doors in 2007. However, they celebrated their reopening service last November, thanks to the effort and im-pact of Paraguay JESUS Film team #8. God's Kingdom continues to produce fruit from the hard soil of the pan-demic!

Paraguay team #8 is contributing to a district initiative called Reborn, which

focuses on reactivating closed churches and creating new church plants.

About 50 youth recently joined the team for a day of service to their community. Believers united to proclaim the gospel, a spiritual wake-up call informing the neighborhood there is once again an active church in the area. Participants evangelized at homes around the neigh-borhood, using face masks and hand sanitizer for protection.

These youth used the EvangeCube and colors of the EvangeBracelet in the JESUS Film equipment set to present the steps of salvation.

Yoan, the Paraguay JESUS Film Country Coordinator, explained, "We preached the good news — the only hope humanity has for salvation was brought to the world through Christ. Jesus is our effective vaccine!"
