Jewish people inherit a negative commitment to Messiah. II Corinthians 3:13-15 speaks of the veil of Moses being upon their hearts. This causes them to be blinded to Yeshua. This does not mean they think ill of Him. Often they view Him as a nice man, a prophet or perhaps a teacher. For any loyal Jew to think any more of Him, however, would often be considered spiritual treason.

Gentile Christians sometimes fear creating an unpleasant situation or losing the friendship of a Jewish person by sharing their faith with them. However, we are commanded to tell others about salvation--that is the Great Commission. It is God's responsibility to draw and convince the recipient of that good news, not ours. Scripture says not everyone will respond favorably. We cannot take a negative reaction personally and allow that to keep us from witnessing. You will probably find a good number of Jewish people to whom we witness will possibly respond with indifference. Remember to keep praying--God does answer prayer!

There are four things which will help you to overcome your fear of witnessing:(1) Knowledge of the Scriptures(2) Successful past experiences(3) Being around people who also witness, and(4) Prayer

Prophecy, both fulfilled and ones that are in the process of being fulfilled, prove God's existence and the reality of his Word beyond a doubt. This card helps you to link the prophecies found in the Old Covenant to the Renewed Covenant.

Congregation Beth Adonai is a Bible Based (Old and Renewed Covenant) Congregation that worships the way that Yeshua and his disciples did. We celebrate the feast and practices of the Torah as we experience Mathew 5:17 where Yeshua said "I have not come to abolish the Torah or the Prophets, but to bring them to their fullness." We believe the whole Bible (Genesis through Revelation) - is the inerrant word of God, by which God reveals His plan for His "Chosen People" Israel and through His Messiah will bring the Nations (Gentiles) to worship Him.

Our Congregation is made up of Jewish and Non-Jewish (Gentile) people and many of our families are interfaith (one Jewish, the other Gentile). We are multi-cultural and multi-ethnic.
