2019 JSS Fete - Saturday 24 August

Fete Update...

“Step Right Up”, planning for Jindalee State School’s ‘GreatestShow’ is well and truly underway.

Being part of our Fete Team is a fun and rewarding experience, plus, it’s a great way to hang out with some awesome people! The team for the Fete is made up of about 50 different roles - sothere is a job suited to almost anyone - if you have an interest/passion/skill or time to share, we can put it to good use. (Andif you think you could be help in another way, that is not listed, please email [email protected]). Ideas for new stalls arealso most welcome.

Fete Meetings

The first Fete meeting for 2019 will be an Info Night for newand potential Convenors/Co-ordinators. By the end of May, weneed to have our Convenor positions assigned, so that planningcan commence. Stalls that have not confirmed a Convenor bythis time will not run and may be sourced externally (which maynot be as financially viable as if it were run internally). If youare undecided about committing to help, come along to ourInfo Night to find out more, about what is involved. You will not

be pressured into signing your life away - we just give you aninsight as to what is required and what support will be available.

Trash'n'Treasure Co-Convenors - The T’n’T convenors Jess &Fran have run this stall for many years, but 2019 will be theirlast one. They would like to offer the opportunity for anyoneconsidering this role for 2020, to work alongside them this year,to ‘learn the ropes’. Jess & Fran have the management of thisstall down to a fine art, so observing their prep this year, willallow the new convenors to ‘hit the ground running’ next year.

While we understand that committing this far out can bedifficult, please keep in mind that, depending on the stall, not alot of work is necessarily required until closer to the date - wejust need to get the game plan ready.

You will be shown exactly what to do andhow to do it - you can stay for an hour or two, or even just 30mins before your 9.30am appointment.
