“Only the Comeleccentral office can re-solve the problem ofvoters whose nameshave been removedfrom the new Comeleclist of registered vot-ers,” ani Orbase.

“There will also be a honey-m o o n p e r i o d . I n c a s e o f achange in administration, it will
also contribute to the peso’s ap-preciation,” ani Veloso.
“There’s still a lot of liquiditybut it won’t be the main driver,”ani Veloso. Doris C. Dumlao

“Our point person is GwenGarcia. She’s 1,000 percent be-hind Gibo (Teodoro)” ani FrancisManglapus, kalihim ng partido.
Isang kinatawanpa ang “still waiting in thewings,” dagdag ng source.

“The first line of defense is toact independently,” ani PCIJ ex-

‘Bagets’-looking Agaa ‘lolo’ in 2 months
“I was so excited to sing withArnel for the first time,” she ex-plained, “so I moved too much.Good thing I wore a cover-upover my bathing suit, so walangindecent exposure (laughs).”
Did she and Arnel get to talkabout their common experienceof singing the National Anthemat Pacquiao’s match? “Nope butwe got to bond,” she said. “Hesang for me and my friendswhile the sun was setting. Ek-sakto his song was about sun-sets.”
The sun is now shiningbrightly on Karylle as she
counts her birthday blessings. After all the storms, K has be-come Miss Bliss.
Lolo AgaSpeaking of Aga, his first
grandson is due barely twomonths from now. Igi Boy andhis wife Patricia will name theirfirstborn Alejandro Miguel. That’s in keeping with theMuhlach tradition of havingnames that begin with theletter “A.” Ever bagets-look-ing Aga will never look likea lolo at all.
Flaunting itDerek Ramsey is handling
the controversy hounding himand Angelica Panganibanproperly. It goes to show howwell-bred he is.
The issue erupted when theirprivate pic taken on an islandlanded on the front page of atabloid. Instead of evading theissue, flaring up or denying it,Derek owned up to it, sayingthere’s nothing wrong about go-ing away on a trip together, since he and Angelica are in arelationship.
But he said that shot was notmeant for public consumption.Ahh! To be proudly in love. Ifyou feel it, flaunt it!
BondingRuffa Gutierrez and
her adorable kids, Lorinand Venice, enjoyedSunday bonding with
Aga and Charlene Muhlachand their cute twins, Andresand Atasha, at the Muhlachs’Batangas resthouse.
I teased Ruffa. “What if An-dres courts one of your daugh-ters so they will continue yourthwarted romance with Aga?”The hot mama replied, laugh-ing: “The twins are 8. Lorin is 6and Venice is 5. They still havea long way to go. They becamehonorary cousins over theweekend. For now yun na langmuna at playmates sila.”
The prospective childhoodsweethearts are bound to beshow biz’s future darlings.
Proud daughterLotlot de Leon is ecstatic
that her mom, Nora Aunor, hasbeen named Best Asian Actressof the Decade by the GreenGlobe International FilmAwards.
“Sobrang proud daughterako na my mom’s talent is rec-ognized, not just locally, but al-so abroad. Ka-level na niya angHollywood greats. Filipino pride’yan! Even my daughter naGrade 2, pinagmamalaki niya saclassmates niya kasi Mom is intheir Filipino textbook.”
Lot would rather not com-ment about reports that LaAunor was a no-show in herCanada concert because shewasn’t feeling well. Hopefully, the prestigious award willserve as an adrenaline shot forthe Superstar to get her act to-gether.
After her cosmetic surgery inJapan, Ate Guy’s new “face”should usher in a new phase inher career, and a new attitude.

B IRTHDAY girl Karylle almost had a “wardrobemalfunction” during her duet with Arnel Pine-da at the ASAP summer special in Boracay.
Justin arrivestoday for gigAS early as November lastyear there was talk that localconcert promoters were bring-ing in pop superstar JustinTimberlake. But it remainedjust a rumor, until Francis Lu-men’s All Youth Channels (for-mer franchisee of MTV Philip-pines) announced a show thatwill feature not just Timber-lake, but also Timbaland andJojo on March 27 at the SMMall of Asia grounds.
It’s actually Timbaland, therapper and sought-after recordproducer, who’s headlining theshow. But even as Timberlakeand Jojo (a teenage singerwhom Timbaland has recruit-ed in his latest album) arebilled as guests, Lumen saysthey will play a major part inthe show.
In fact, the gig, dubbedChanging Lives, is a specialone-off event, a fundraiser forthe PLDT-Smart Foundationwhich is channeling the gig’sproceeds to help young vic-tims of the Ondoy-Pepengstorms, including students ofthe Angono School of the Artswhose musical instrumentswere damaged by the floods.
Timberlake, who’s flying infrom Los Angeles today withgirlfriend Jessica Biel, will bemeeting the Angono musicstudents after his arrival.
