EN Magnum’s core: the pumping unitThe 25 m Magnum has a boom with the last two sections made of carbon and is the only one that can be fitted with a closed-circuit electronic pumping unit (PB607 EPC). The other versions only come in the open-circuit configuration and are available with two pumping unit versions: the PB607 and PB808. The Italian market seems to be appreciating this configuration, as it ensures higher performance even in the presence of considerable jets.

The drumMagnum can fit two types of drums, one of 7 m³ and the other one of 9 m³. This choice depends on the markets and legal capacity of the country where the machine will be operating. In Italy, since there is the possibility to lift 4 axles of 40 tons (or 3 axles of 33 tons), 100% of mixer pumps come with a 9 m3 drum. Instead, the rest of Europe prefers the 7 m3 drum for the 4-axle chassis of 32 tons and 3-axle chassis of 26 tons.

A great help for the operatorAnother aspect involves the management of the machine. First, we focused on the MK25H Magnum, introducing the Smartronic™ platform, an innovative electronic management system that facilitates operations and collects the information required to manage the machine’s functions in a simple and accurate way. This machine, equipped with this diagnostic platform and management system by default, was presented in 2013 in the version with closed-circuit electronic pumping unit, the PB607 EPC. Easytronic™ is a similar yet simpler solution that has been applied to the range of machines with open-circuit pumping units.

Gli altri Magnum hanno esclusivamente la configurazione a circuito aperto, con due versioni di gruppo pompanti: il PB607 e il PB808, apprezzato dal mercato Italia poiché garantisce maggiori prestazioni anche in caso di getti importanti.

Il tamburoIl Magnum può montare due tipi di tamburo, da 7 e 9 m³. La scelta si ha in funzione dei mercati e della portata legale del paese. In Italia, dove si ha possibilità di portare su 4 assi 40 ton (33 ton per il 3 assi), il 100% delle betonpompe esce col tamburo da 9 m³, mentre per il resto d’Europa, con 32 ton per il 4 assi e 26 ton per il 3 assi, è preferito il tamburo da 7 m³.

Un grande aiuto per l’operatoreUn altro aspetto riguarda la parte di gestione della macchina. Dapprima ci siamo concentrati sul Magnum MK25H introducendo una piattaforma chiamata Smartronic™, avanzato sistema di gestione elettronico che semplifica le operazioni e raccoglie le informazioni necessarie a gestire le funzioni della macchina in modo semplice e preciso. La macchina, dotata come standard di questa piattaforma di diagnostica e gestione del sistema, è stata presentata nel 2013 solo nella versione con gruppo pompante elettronico a circuito chiuso PB607 EPC. Una soluzione analoga, ma semplificata, l’Easytronic™, alternativa semplificata è stata applicata al resto della gamma caratterizzata da gruppi pompanti a circuito aperto.

Comprehensive set-upsMagnum can be fitted on any truck, according to CIFA’s chassis specifications. Any Magnum version meets the market’s requirements, as it can be configured based on the country where it will be operating. For example, the 3-axle chassis is suitable for some models in Italy or the 5-axle chassis is perfect for models intended for Northern Europe. Magnum is very much requested in Northern Europe, where they are being mounted on 8x4 Tridem vehicles. We can mount the 24 m and 25 m versions on the 3-axle chassis, whereas the 24 m, 25 m, 28 m, and 32 m versions can be mounted on the 4-axle, 5-axle, or 4-axle tridem chassis.

A boom for every requirementMagnum is also available with booms of different lengths to meet any requirement. You just have to choose among the 24, 25, 28, and 32 m versions. All 4 booms have a 4-inch piping, while the 28 m version is also available with a 5-inch boom. The different configurations of the placing booms ensure the utmost functionality and flexibility. Moreover, reaching any area of the construction site is no longer a problem.

Watch the weight!Since the last two sections of the MK25H are made of carbon, thus reducing the weight of the machine, we have given the opportunity to have, with a boom 1 metre longer, 4 sections instead of the 3 of the 24 m version made of steel. This way, the end user can load up to 5 m3 of concrete while falling within the total weight of 32 tons, as per law. Our MK25H Carbotech is the only mixer pump on the market to have these characteristics, which our clients seem to be appreciating a lot, as it takes them fewer journeys to transport a larger amount of concrete.

Occhio al peso!Utilizzando il carbonio nelle ultime due sezioni del braccio dell’MK25H e riducendo così il peso della macchina, abbiamo dato la possibilità, con 1 m in più di braccio, di avere 4 sezioni anziché le 3 presenti nel 24 m in acciaio, consentendo all’utilizzatore finale di caricare fino a 5 m³ di calcestruzzo pur rientrando nel peso totale di 32 ton previsto dalla legge. Il nostro MK25H Carbotech è l’unica betonpompa attualmente sul mercato ad avere queste caratteristiche distintive, molto apprezzate dai clienti in quanto consente di portare più calcestruzzo e di effettuare meno viaggi.

Over the years Magnum has evolved and a series of optional elements were introduced, such as the stainless steel box and the pipe holder. A breath of Oxygene

EN On 14 September 2017 in Paris, Vicat Group, one of the most important French Cement groups, presented a truck mixer with high environmental performance. The vehicle, called Oxygene due to its environmentally-friendly performance, ensures a 96% carbon dioxide reduction and a drastic reduction in decibels both in the truck engine and drum. This new environmentally-friendly means of transport will allow heavy commercial vehicles to access and circulate in urban areas. It’s an important innovation, which will involve French roads from the end of this month. The combination of two technologies (for the very first time) – Iveco’s Natural Gas Engine for NGVs and CIFA’s hybrid truck mixer, Energya – has made this world premier possible. The engine of the vehicle is powered with natural gas or biomethane, whereas the truck mixer runs with an electric motor with lithium batteries recharged during road transport, also during the deceleration stage. This new technology will allow concrete to be transported to urban and suburban areas subject to constraints in terms of emissions of gaseous pollutants and greenhouse gas, thus preserving the environment.

IT Il 14 settembre 2017 a Parigi, il gruppo Vicat, tra i più importanti gruppi cementieri francesi, ha presentato un’autobetoniera ad elevate prestazioni ambientali. Il mezzo, battezzato Oxygene (Ossigeno) per le sue prestazioni “green”, garantisce il 96% in meno di emissioni di anidride carbonica e una drastica diminuzione di decibel sia sul motore del camion sia sul tamburo. Si tratta di una nuova modalità di trasporto ecologico che consente l’accesso e la circolazione nelle aree urbane di veicoli commerciali pesanti. Un’importante innovazione che interesserà le strade francesi a partire dalla fine di questo mese. La combinazione di due tecnologie finora mai riunite – il motore Iveco a Gas Naturale per Veicoli (GNV) e l’autobetoniera ibrida CIFA Energya, ha reso possibile questa prima mondiale. Il motore del veicolo è alimentato con GNV “bio metano”, mentre l’autobetoniera funziona con un motore elettrico con batterie al litio che vengono ricaricate durante il trasporto su strada ma anche in fase di decelerazione. Questa nuova tecnologia consente il trasporto di calcestruzzo in aree urbane ed extraurbane soggette a vincoli in termini di emissioni di inquinanti gassosi e gas a effetto serra, preservando l’ambiente.

EN This is an important challenge for Vicat, which has involved three partners having the same vision to give life to this project: Jacky PERRENOT “JP”, Vicat’s long-standing partner (The Jacky PERRENOT group is a leader in the road transport industry with NGV technology); IVECO, the manufacturer of industrial vehicles and leading company in the development of NGV engine solutions for the road transport of goods, and CIFA, the Italian manufacturer of the unique hybrid truck mixer, CIFA Energya. “This project is extremely important for CIFA” – underlined Jean Xavier, manager for CIFA France – because we are the only company to offer this type of technology, which allows us to increase our sales volumes and conquer the market. This is a challenge also for CIFA France, which has recently included an electronic technician in its team, so as to support this ever-growing technology.” In the next few months, Vicat and PERRENOT will make a road show with Oxygene in 12 French cities, where they will present the project. The road show will terminate in Lyon, where Oxygene will become part of the fleet from the beginning of 2018.

In 2017, reaffirming its confidence, CIFA decided to entrust GLOBEX with a dealership in Slovenia. From this partnership some important deals have been closed. CIFA proposed the new Easytronic™ technology for Magnum truck mixers, the Smartronic™ and ASC systems for vehicle-mounted pumps, and CSD for the mixers, showing the new clients why CIFA stands out.This strategy resulted in a boost in sales, with two MK32L sold to Marolt Beton, one K42L and one SL10 CSD sold to Kolektor and one MK25H (in the photo) sold to Pomgrad. The branch will coordinate CIFA’s and ZOOMLION’s business and assistance activities in the Middle East for all concrete and construction products of the group; whereas the spare part supply area will cater to the Middle East, Africa, and Iran.

The main goal is to make spare parts and machinery immediately available to the entire area with shorter delivery times. “Wajih’s appointment as Zoomlion Gulf’s General Manager – said Marco Polastri, CIFA’s Sales Manager – is one of the first steps we are taking within the internationalisation project of the Zoomlion Group, in which CIFA plays an important role. This project includes the development of a multicultural organisation, which will conquer the world’s main markets with its branches and production sites. A huge challenge, which appears to be already bearing its fruit.”

The branch will be extremely close to dealers and end-customers.

This strategy to move to the UAE will help CIFA increase its control over the territory and, thus, its penetration into the Middle Eastern markets. This will be possible also thanks thanks to its close-knit sales team, which has been supporting this project for 3 years and follows the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) area from the Senago-based offices in Italy.

To make this team even stronger, the company has decided to hire local personnel, in order to know the market and its requests from the inside and be closer to the dealers and end-customers. Moreover, by supplying different lines of products (concrete, cranes, earthmoving, etc.) and services as a group, the branch will be able to follow the projects of important international contractors in that area. “And to relaunch CIFA’s presence in the Middle East market, on which we are investing – adds Eit – at the end of March 2018, we will participate in the Big5 Heavy event in Dubai, and CIFA will be the only brand of the Zoomlion group present for concrete machines.” The branch’s premises cover a surface of over 1,000 square metres, which includes offices, outdoor machine storage areas, a spare part hub, and a training centre. The branch, as it is, is made up of an international and multicultural team (Chinese, locals, and Italians) engaged in the sales, service, spare parts and logistics, and HR areas. “I hate to leave Italy – confesses Eit – but career-wise, this is an extremely interesting opportunity that I couldn’t possibly miss. We have an enormous potential in that area. Benvenuto a Dubai!

IT Da qualche settimana Wajih Eit si è trasferito a Dubai. Gli è stato affidato infatti il ruolo di General Manager di Zoomlion Gulf FZE, la filiale del gruppo situata in UAE, nella Jebel Ali Free Zone di Dubai. La filiale coordinerà le attività commerciali e di assistenza di CIFA e ZOOMLION nel medio oriente per tutti i prodotti del gruppo nei settori concrete e construction, mentre l’area di fornitura ricambi riguarda Middle East, Africa, e Iran.

L’obiettivo principale sarà quello di avere immediatamente disponibili ricambi e macchine per fornire tutta l’area riducendo i tempi di consegna. “La nomina di Wajih come General Manager di Zoomlion Gulf, ha precisato il direttore commerciale di CIFA Marco Polastri, è uno dei primi importanti passi che stiamo muovendo all’interno del progetto di internazionalizzazione del Gruppo Zoomlion e dove CIFA gioca un ruolo molto importante. Il progetto prevede lo sviluppo di un’organizzazione multiculturale che si andrà a localizzare nei mercati principali di tutto il mondo attraverso filiali e siti produttivi. Una grande sfida che sta già dando i primi frutti” Grazie a questo trasferimento in UAE ed al supporto del team commerciale ormai consolidato da circa 3 anni e che segue il MENA (Medio Oriente e Nord Africa) dalla sede Italiana a Senago, sotto il diretto coordinamento di Wajih Eit, CIFA aumenterà il presidio del territorio e quindi il livello di penetrazione nei mercati medio orientali.

Ad implementazione di questo team è già in atto l’assunzione di personale locale nella filiale di Dubai in grado di conoscere bene il mercato e le sue richieste, ed essere così ancor più vicini ai dealer e ai clienti finali. Poi, fornendo come Gruppo diverse linee di prodotto (concrete, cranes, earthmoving …) e servizi completi, la subsidiary sarà in grado di seguire a 360° i progetti di importanti contractors mondiali in quella zona, “e per rilanciare la presenza CIFA sul mercato del Medio Oriente, su cui tanto stiamo investendo, sottolinea Eit, a fine marzo 2018 parteciperemo alla fiera Big5 Heavy a Dubai con CIFA come unico brand per macchine concrete del Gruppo Zoomlion”. La sede della subsidiary ha una superficie di oltre 1.000 metri quadri, ed include uffici, superficie all’aperto per stock macchine, Hub ricambi e training center. La struttura attuale è composta da un team di diverse nazionalità (cinesi, locali ed italiani) suddivise nelle aree vendite, service, ricambi, logistica e HR. “Mi dispiace molto lasciare l’Italia, ha aggiunto Eit, ma a livello professionale si tratta di un’opportunità molto interessante, e affronto con serenità questa nuova sfida. In quell’area abbiamo un potenziale enorme, e sfruttando la filiale con team dedicato a supporto del dealer e del cliente finale ci saranno grandissime opportunità sul mercato per tutte le linee di prodotto”.

EN A inizio Settembre è stato firmato da M.Polastri (CIFA sales director) e da Monsiff ABIED (administrateur directeur general SCANIA Maroc) a Casablanca il contratto di dealership esclusivo per il Marocco con SCANIA Maroc. Benvenuta dunque Scania Maroc a cui dedicheremo spazio nel prossimo numero per la presentazione della struttura.

EN At the beginning of October, in the framework of a reorganization plan for our production sites, the Corporate Management formalized its decision to expand the production site of Rogolo (Valme) and to completely relocate the work and manpower of the production site Zanica in the factories of Senago and Castiglione.As for the Rogolo production site, the expansion of the plant through the construction of new warehouses and consequently the doubling of foundry, heat treatment, welding and painting robots will be completed in the first part of 2018 and will allow to supply more broadly the growing market demand and to significantly reduce the delivery times to the customer.As regards Zanica, for many years the situation of the plant was under consideration and the Company has on several occasions carried out evaluations of alternative solutions available in neighboring territories without ever reaching the objective of finding an adequate space for structure, size, costs and logistics.Only recently opportunities have become available in Senago that have offered the possibility of a complete shift of the production facility now located in the Zanica factory. The

transfer of the plant will be completed by the end of 2018.The integration of all stages of the production cycle into a single plant - Senago for truck pumps, stationary and spritz pumps and Castiglione mixer-pumps, mixers, and batching plants - will enable increased efficiency of all processes as well as a more profitable investing in technologies and production methods, aimed at improving the quality and product as a whole. At the end of the reorganization process, Castiglione and Senago plants will be fully verticalized, from steel sheet entry to the output of the finished product.The company has clearly expressed the need to continue to maintain the entire workforce currently employed in Zanica to keep the work done there and develop further, nevertheless it has shown full availability to support workers in the resulting costs from the transfer.

IT A inizio ottobre, nell’ambito di un piano di riorganizzazione dei siti produttivi del gruppo CIFA, la Direzione aziendale ha ufficializzato la propria decisione di ampliare il sito produttivo di Rogolo (Valme) e di trasferire integralmente le attività e la manodopera del sito produttivo di Zanica negli stabilimenti di Senago e Castiglione. Per quanto riguarda il sito produttivo di Rogolo, l’ampliamento dello stabilimento, attraverso la costruzione di nuovi capannoni, e conseguentemente il raddoppio dei reparti di fonderia, trattamenti termici, robot di saldatura e verniciatura verrà portato a termine nella prima parte del 2018 e consentirà di soddisfare

Gli stabilimenti di Castiglione e Senago risulteranno, alla fine del processo di riorganizzazione, completamente verticalizzati, dall’entrata della lamiera fino all’uscita del prodotto finito.L’Azienda ha chiaramente espresso l’esigenza di poter continuare a disporre dell’intera forza lavoro oggi impiegata a Zanica per mantenere in toto le lavorazioni ivi effettuate e svilupparne di ulteriori e a fronte di ciò ha manifestato disponibilità piena a supportare i lavoratori negli oneri derivanti dal trasferimento.

EN On September 12 and 13, the new spaces of CIFA Academy were inaugurated at the CIFA Mixer factory in Castiglione delle Stiviere. In addition to the large hall for courses, several equipments are available for practical activities.The inaugural course was aimed at training the technicians of the Polish TARCO dealer regarding the installation on trucks of mixer kits.In addition to the activities dedicated to after sales technicians, the venue will also host training courses for end users such as the new mixer operator Training Program that provides theoretical and practical lessons for a total of 14 hours with the issuance of an attestation.

IT Nei giorni 12 e 13 settembre è stata inaugurata la nuova sede di CIFA Academy realizzata presso lo stabilimento CIFA Mixer di Castiglione delle Stiviere. A disposizione, oltre all’ampia aula attrezzata anche spazi e attrezzature per le attività pratiche.Il corso inaugurale ha avuto come oggetto la formazione dei tecnici del dealer polacco TARCO riguardante l’installazione sugli autocarri dei kit autobetoniere prodotti in CIFA Mixer.Oltre alle attività dedicate al personale post vendita, la sede ospiterà anche corsi di formazione per gli utilizzatori finali come il nuovo programma di formazione per conducenti di autobetoniera che prevede lezioni teoriche e pratiche per un totale di 14 ore con il rilascio di un attestato.
