“Beyond the Traditional School: Education and Healthcare- The
New Normal”
When the rate of change outside an organization is faster than the rate of change inside the organization, the
end is near.
“Success by Chance”
What does that mean? Every period was a different set of requirements Every period was a different set of standards Every period was a different grading system No consistency across the school No consistency across the districts
Success depended upon whether or not a student was lucky enough to get a particular teacher.
Unwritten contract: “If you pass me… I won’t bother you”.
Success by Design!
We must move from beating the odds to changing the
odds.
We must continue our move fromSuccess by Chance to…
Why Change?
Take Control or Be Controlled
