Additionally, I ask that you pray for all of those impacted in and from Nova Scotia who experienced tragedy this past weekend. In these unprecedented times we continue to turn to our faith as a sense of comfort and peace. We will get through this and come together as a stronger united country. Our teachers continue to work hard at connecting with their classes through a variety of platforms including Google Classroom, Google Chats, D2L and live Zoom lessons. I encourage you to support your child the best you can by encouraging them to log into their classes daily to obtain relevant instruction and/or engage in learning. If they are feeling challenged with the learning platform you or your child can reach out to our team through the general email address and/or the phone number listed below under CONTACT US. If your child requires support from Academic Resource or ESL again I encourage you to Contact Us. Please ensure when communicating with the school you leave your name, your childs name and phone number where you can be reached and a staff member with get back to you. It is imperative that your child continues to engage in learning as of April 6th to reach success through our school closures. See the Continuity of Learning Document, April 14th posted on the board and school website for clarity. Lastly, I want to remind you that there are a multitude of supports for students and families to help you all through this very challenging time. It is highlighted under FAMILY SUPPORTS and I encourage you to reach out to them if needed. Alternatively our whole entire support team, Child Youth Worker, Social Worker and School Educational Phycologist are all on hand to support our school community should you need it. As we enter week three of the Continuity of Learning in Dufferin-Peel Mrs. Jakubowska and I firstly want to take a moment to ask that you continue to keep all those who have been affected by the pandemic in your daily prayers.
