FROGTOWN ARTWALK
3
On the 13th of September, myself and other fellow Key Clubbers got to experience the eccentricity of Frogtown and its respective Art Walk 2014! Not only was the scenery of the quaint township charming, helping the friendly community made my experience that Saturday all the much better. Arriving at half past noon, I got to help assemble the glow sticks and fliers that would be sent to the main portions of the Walk. Later, my friend Grace and I got to walk down the LA River Bikepath, posting up maps by the beautiful life size cranes that schools in the LA County had decorated. Then, other volunteers and I went around the town and put up street signs to direct people to the festivities - all the while munching on delicious home made tacos and looking at the beautiful works of art that local artists were putting up! By the end of the day, it was suffice to say that my time spent at Frogtown was productive and positive! -Lucine Poturyan
RTC REGION TRAINING CONFERENCE
I have attended this year’s RTC (Regional Training Conference) and I am glad that I did! Even though I have been a Key Club member since last year, I realized that there were a great number of things that I did NOT know about Key Cub!!! Luckily, the RTC was of great help and there I was able to learn about many topics in different little sessions. There were a big variety of sessions that helped me learn more about Key Club!!! Also, During RTC, I was able to make new friends from different divisions and “battle” against them in SPIRIT BATTLES!!! It was a very LOUD, CRAZY, and FUN experience!!! I had a very good time at our RTC and I know for sure that I will attend RTC the next time!!! -Lia Kim

MEMBER OF THE MONTH
Congratulations to Elizabeth Kennedy for earning the Member of the Month award for the month of September! In addition to her arduous studies and flourishing social life, this month Elizabeth has attended several events and continued to embrace the inner works of Key Club International in the most favorable fashion, with friends!Aside from her attendance at our general weekly meetings, Elizabeth has attended events such as the Frogtown Art-‐Walk where she alongside her fellow wolves assisted in setting up the mile long, neighborhood art gallery with pieces of artwork streamed along the stretch of the Los Angeles River. Furthermore, Elizabeth has continued to expand her affiliation with the club by forwarding her experiences and adventures with those in her social circle and by doing so she does a greater service to our club as a whole by spreading awareness as we hope she will continue to do.

OFFICER OF THE MONTH
8
Congratulations to Lia Kim for earning Officer of the Month for the month of September! Lia is John Marshall’s Sophomore Class Representative and has exemplified outstanding work for the month! Although Lia is only a sophomore, she has taken charge of her future by taking SAT preparatory classes almost every Saturday since summer had begun. Therefore, her Key Club activities have been limited but she has still managed to fulfill her duties as a representative by keeping up with those in her respective class and ensuring her knowledge about our organization is updated and constant. In addition to her aspiring future, Lia Kim has attended events like Region 7 Training Conference where she was able to attend several workshops to better herself and her leadership abilities since she has not only two years of her high school career ahead of her but also her collegiate academics that will hopefully intertwine with
