I work for an agency and am mandated to report un-safe behavior per a state licensing requirement. There is a list of activities that I am required to report, or I will lose my job. An item on that list is cutting; another is purging.

What should I do and how should I respond when a person wants us to write them during a wellness toolbox session?

Another ScenarioAnother ScenarioDuring the brainstorming session on Wellness Tools a man attributes Gamblers Anonymous as saving his life. He tells us he won’t come to WRAP anymore because the scribe wrote down another person’s wellness tool- drinking a glass of wine and playing slot machines at a nearby casino.

He says he would stay if we take the gambling wellness tool off of the list. How might I reply to his concerns?

Co-facilitating WRAP in a rehabilitation center specifically working with people over-coming drug and/or alcohol abuse, what if during a brainstorm session, one person wants to add ‘getting drunk’ to the wellness toolbox easel pad sheet and another person states, they do not want to see ‘getting drunk’ as a wellness tool on the wall every day.

How do I respond upholding the values and ethics?
