Our Commitment to Safe Driving

SAFE Fleet - Caring About People is the singular mission of our fleet safety program - to protect you and your loved ones while operating a motor vehicle. Nothing is more important to us than knowing that each of you returns home safely each day. We know that business conditions are challenging and that each of you is working hard to help Johnson & Johnson succeed. We appreciate your effort and ask that you make sure that we succeed safely. We need each of you to play your part in encouraging safe behavior while driving.

Specifically, we ask...

• Business Leaders to emphasize our message of caring throughout your organization. Stress that challenging business times are when we need to strengthen our safety efforts. Encourage full participation in SAFE Fleet and emphasize its importance to our business at your board and sales meetings.

•  Drivers to concentrate on the important task of driving. Avoid distractions and drive defensively. Take advantage of every opportunity offered by your company's SAFE Fleet program to improve your skills and avoid serious injury.

We have seen our mid-year safety results and are concerned with the overall upward trend in both crash and injury rates. Each crash is a potential serious injury. The more crashes we have, the higher the probability of injury.

Caring for the world, one person at a time... inspires and unites the people of Johnson & Johnson. This is our statement of caring that drives excellence in meeting the needs and expectations of our customers. Let's embrace this same philosophy as we support each other to prevent vehicle crashes and injuries.

“SAFE Fleet – Caring About People is the singularmission of our fleet safety program – to protect you and your loved ones while operating a motor vehicle. Nothing is more important to us than knowing that each of you returns home safely each day.”
