Euro Mine Expo is an international conference and trade fair in Skellefteå Sweden that has been organized since 2008. Since the start, Euro Mine Expo has more than doubled in size and more than 2000 participants are expected in 2018. Northern Sweden is Europe’s most mineralized area and today 5 mines are operational within 100km from Skellefteå and a smelter within 20km, with only one hour to Arlanda, the location is excellent for a meeting point for the mining industry. With more than 30 learning sessions, 200 exhibitors, 2000 participants, field trips to nearby mines, social events, networking events and about 40 nations represented, Euro Mine Expo is one of Europe’s most important meeting points. Our conference program invites mining companies to present their challenges and opportunities for the future. In addition, in-depth talks on machine learning, electrifica- tion, digitalization, automation and other topics will be shared.
