Welcome Ms. Boscha
Hi! My name is Ms. Boscha I am excited to be joining the John Paul II family. I am thrilled to have
been given the opportunity to teach the 4th grade students this fall. I can not wait to meet all of the
students and their families and eager to have a year filled with learning and fun. I am marrying my
fiance, Tyler, this June. We are excited to start our newlywed life together. I will be moving from
Racine to Oak Creek. We have a little cat named Mario that we adopted in October. In my free time
I enjoy gardening, baking, and spending as much time as I can with friends and family. I am the old-
est of 4 children; 2 sisters and 1 brother. I grew up in Racine and attended private schools all my life. I graduated from Carthage College in
2013 and completed my student teaching semester in 2014. During the 2015-2016 school year I
taught 1st grade at an elementary school in Racine. I love teaching and work hard to instill that love
for learning into my students. It is my desire for all my students to become lifelong learners and I
hope that my classroom exudes that philosophy! I look forward to meeting everyone soon and cannot wait to start teaching in the fall.
Welcome Mrs. Bates
My name is Mrs. Tressa Bates, and I am thrilled to be joining you next fall as the Science and Social Studies teacher for 6th, 7th and 8th grades. I am originally from Michigan and received my Bachelor's degree from Michigan Technological University. I am currently a graduate student at Alverno College studying for my Master's degree in Education. My family and I have lived in Wisconsin for 19 years, with 17 of those in Racine. I have four children, two boys and two girls, and was fortunate to be able to stay at home with them until my youngest entered school. My educational philosophy involves hands-on, experiential learning that challenges students to apply their knowledge to real world situa-tions. I hope to stop by the school before the 2015-16 school year ends to meet any availa-ble staff and families. May you all have a blessed and safe Summer!

Dear John Paul II Academy Faculty, Parents and Students,
Thank you so very much for showing me so much appreciation
of my working with the students for their weekly school Masses.
The BOOK of heartfelt appreciative responses and art work papers is a TREASURY to me
and yes I need Kleenex to read and reread them each time.
I never dreamed one small project could touch so many persons so much.
Thank you again, and I enjoyed working with so many students
over all those years. They were all so eager to do their parts of
the Masses perfectly.
Thank you again and I will miss working with the teachers and students. Mrs. Martino
