Oxford Point Apartments 3.) El Mexicano Grocery 4.) Jackson Elementary and 5.) Sharon Baptist Church. Please encourage your children to attend these STAAR End-of-Course tutorial sessions. Working together, with your support, our students will be prepared for graduation and beyond. I have enclosed a copy of the Texas Education Agency school report card for 2014-2015. Our 2015 School Accounta- bility Rating was “Met Standard”. We also received 7 out of 7 academic distinctions from the Texas Education Agency, only 153 campuses in the State of Texas received this honor! Dresses, skirts, all split garments, and shorts must not be shorter than 3 inches above the knee while maintaining dignity and modesty.

Provocative or excessively tight clothing is not allowed.
NO leggings , jeggings, or other tight fitting clothing.
All combs, brushes, and make up must remain in pocket or purses until between classes and then may be used only in the rest room These items are subject to be confiscated.
Full shoulder and back coverage required (front or back spaghetti straps are not permitted). Shirt straps must be at least 3 inches in width. No racerbacks
Male Students
Hair must be neatly worn no longer than the eyebrow, earlobe, and natural collar.
Mohawk haircuts with distracting style, length, or color are not acceptable.
May not wear any type of ear adornment.
May not wear tank tops, like apparel or shirts with sleeves cut or torn out. All sleeves must have a hem.
See through shirts will not be considered as appropriate dress for a school function.

SCHOOL SAFETY Providing a safe, warm and comfortable environment is a necessary step in achieving maximum performance from the students and staff in a school. Through our vigilance, preparedness, and planning, we can reduce the risk of school violence and increase our ability to respond swiftly and appropriately, should it occur. We highly encourage our parents and students to report any safety concerns to our school staff. The Crisis Manage-ment team has guidelines in place to ensure the safety of our students. To that end we ask that you sign in at the principal’s office when you visit the high school. No one should be on campus without a visitor or substitute tag. Our software program also enables us to print a report on who is on campus and how often. We have also brought back student ID’s, which is just another way we keep our students safe. We are a closed campus and student ID’s help us know, at a glance, if a child is a Chapel Hill High School student.
Release of Students from School A student will not be released from school at times other than regular dismissal hours (except with the principal’s permission or according to the campus sign-out proce-dures). A student who needs to leave school during the day, must bring a note from his or her parent that morn-ing. A student who becomes ill during the school day should, report to the school nurse. The nurse will decide whether or not the student should be sent home, and she will notify the student’s parent.
PARENT ACTION TEAM The Chapel Hill High School Parent Action Team seeks to promote the welfare of stu-dents in the home, school and community. We also seek to unite parents and the school to best serve our students. Please partner with us. We will meet again on Tuesday, April 12 @ 5:30 p.m. in the library.

SEGURIDAD ESCOLAR
Proporcionar un ambiente seguro, cálido y confortable es
un paso necesario para lograr el máximo rendimiento de
los estudiantes y el personal en una escuela. A través de nuestra vigilancia, preparación y planificación, podemos
reducir el riesgo de violencia escolar y aumentar nuestra
capacidad de responder con rapidez y de manera adec-
uada, en caso de producirse. Le animamos a los padres y
estudiantes para informar de cualquier problema de se-
guridad a nuestro personal escolar. El equipo de gestión
de crisis tiene pautas para garantizar la seguridad de
nuestros estudiantes. A tal fin le pedimos que firmar en la
oficina del director cuando visita la escuela secundaria.
Nadie debería estar en la escuela sin un visitante o eti-
queta de sustituto. Nuestro programa de software también
nos permite imprimir un informe de quién esté en el cam-pus y con qué frecuencia. También hemos traído de iden-
tificación del estudiante, el cual es otra manera de man-
tener seguros a nuestros estudiantes. Somos un plantel
cerrado y el estudiante la ayuda de Identificación no-
sotros sabemos, de un vistazo, si un niño es un estudiante
de escuela secundaria de Chapel Hill.
La liberación de Estudiantes de la Escuela
Un estudiante no será liberado de la escuela en momentos dis-
tintos a horas regulares de salida (excepto con el permiso del
director o de acuerdo con los procedimientos de cierre de
sesión del campus). Un estudiante que necesita salir de la es-cuela durante el día, debe traer una nota de su padre esa maña-
na. Un estudiante que se enferma durante el día escolar debe,
informe a la enfermera de la escuela. La enfermera decidirá si
el estudiante debe ser enviado a casa, y se notificará a los pa-
dres del estudiante.
