You can show them you care and appreciate what they do every day by attending a special luncheon & say Thank You. The year 2017 was a memorable one in what unfortunately are national disasters. Nationwide, we had a shooting in Las Vegas, hurricanes, and multiple fires out west. Locally, we faced a house explosion that rocked a whole neighborhood. Lincoln was blessed with zero homicides; however, nightly our police officers faced life threatening situations. The Lincoln Police Department and the Lincoln Fire Department are always busy. In just the first 10 days of 2018, nationally we lost 4 police officers and 2 fire fighters while doing their job to protect us. you can join others in our community to show your gratitude for their work.
