To The RESCUE!

My comic’s name

is Nanny Mary

and I gave this

name to my comic

because this story

is related to a

nanny, that comes

and helps the

mom. You all

would be wonder-

ing what is she

talking about, well

I am trying to

explain effective

communication.

Effective commu-

nication is the

process os shar-

ing information,

thoughts and

feeling between

people. Well I told

you this cause

you need to know

what effective

communication is

to understand my

comic. Well my

comic is mainly

about this nanny

that helps the

mom solve the

problems at there

house. In this

comic the mom is

really tired of her

two daughters

fighting over and

over again, so she

decided to call the

nanny and the

nanny explained

her what is I-

message, positive

staragies . Road

blocks, Empathy

and Effective

listening.

Well as I said before the nanny explains what is effective listening, roadblocks, em-

pathy, positive staragies and I-message. Then after that little talk the nanny left. So

next day while the two sisters were dinner, the mom started to explain what the

nanny told her to d, so she explained, that because you guys fight a lot, you are

creating roadblocks in your relationship for example when you said……! Doing that

causes you both more relationship problems and the is effecting all of us not just

you two.

In my comic I used positive staragies, I-message, effective listening, roadblocks, and

empathy. Well let me tell you what are meaning of all this words that they just talked

about. The first words that I am going to talk about is roadblocks, roadblocks are

when you fight or argue and create a problem between 2 or more people. I-message is

when you is like almost solving problems for example: Suggestion, reassuring, per-

suading, and praising. You can use I-message in a way that the person understands

using this words “ I feel…….because…….when you…..and all so they will listen toy

you. Effective listening is the talking between the two people and the receiver under-

stands the sender’s message in the way the speaker intended it. Empathy is about

understanding about how the other person feels with you, when you are talking. And

the last of all is positive staragies. Positives staragies is when you talk to someone you

make them understand and make them feel better. So this is what each of them mean

in detail.

To The RESCUE!

Positive staragies can solve the conflict that you have because if you understand what

the other person is trying to tell, and why is it doing that then it will be easy for you.

Then when you understand , you talk to the other person and also make them under-

stand what you are trying to do. So this is how positive staragies solve the conflict that

you have in any type of case.

You can use posi-

tive staragies also

for knowing or un-

derstanding and if

you don’t know

what you are do-

ing, you won’t be

able to know or

understand them.

They will also think

that you are not

trying to be nice or

don’t want the re-

lationship and that

why effective lis-

tening is the main

part of anything

that you try to do.

If you are a teen and use the staragies that I just told you than

your life will be the best because you will know what you are

trying to say to the other person and they will also understand

you better. This staragies help you develop in your life so that

you don’t have any fights, and also prevent from fights to hap-

pen. If use this staragies than if you have a fight with them than

you can solve it easily cause you know the way I told you. So

this is why this staragies can help you!!!

1. Make the base: Put the flour into a large bowl, and then stir in the yeast and salt.

Make a well, pour in 200ml warm water and the olive oil and bring together with a wooden spoon until you have soft, fairly wet dough. Turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5 minutes until smooth. Cover with a tea towel and set aside. You can leave the dough to rise if you like, but it's not essential for a thin crust.

2. Make the sauce: Mix the passata, basil and crushed garlic together, then season to taste. Leave to stand at room temperature while you get on with shaping the base.

3. Roll out the dough: If you've let the dough rise, give it a quick knead, then split into two balls. On a floured surface, roll out the dough into large rounds, about 25cm across, using a rolling pin. The dough needs to be very thin as it will rise in the oven. Lift the rounds onto two floured baking sheets.

4. Top and bake: Heat oven to 240C/fan 220C /gas 8. Put another baking sheet or an upturned baking tray in the oven on the top shelf. Smooth sauce over bases with the back of a spoon. Scatter with cheese and tomatoes, drizzle with olive oil and season. Put one pizza, still on its baking sheet, on top of the preheated sheet or tray. Bake for 8-10 minutes until crisp. Serve with a little more olive oil, and basil leaves if using. Repeat step for remaining pizza

What makes this recipe

healthy?

This recipe fits the Canadian Food

Guide or the CFG because the

food that is chosen in the recipe

for teens, keeps you healthy and

fresh every day. The food keeps

you healthy because of the good

nutrients you take in (i.e. the car-

rots give you vitamins, mineral,

and also fiber) and this recipe has

lots of different kinds of vegetables

which are healthy for all the people

no just teens. So this is why this

recipe is healthy. This recipe also

fits the Canadian Food Guide be-

cause the teen this age need to

have some kind of healthy food

every day but which they don’t, so

if they eat this it will keep them

healthy and strong together plus

they will have the requirements in

the food guide fulfilled. So this is

why the recipe fits in the Cana-

dian Food Guide.

Importance of meal

planning

It saves time

It saves money

You are always

prepared ,so you

know what to use

and where and

what time you use

the ingredients in

the recipe

It is faster to cook

because you al-

ready know what

you are doing…!

Why is this recipe appealing for the teens our

age?

This recipe is appealing to the teens because teens like to eat creative and good food

that must be good in taste and look. Since teens just like to eat junk and unhealthy

food. This recipe is good for them in health and they will love it thinking that is a junk

type food, but really even the noodles are whole wheat in the recipe. Teens also think

this recipe is appealing to them because they love to taste new things as I said before,

but they also like how the food is creative and how tasty is it depending on the look.

Teens have some dislike and some likes upon there healthy food eating, so this recipe

is good for them either way, it is healthy and yummy . Most teens also like to eat food

at a certain temperature , shape , colour, texture, flavour and more. And this recipe has

most of those things like temperature is hot,, there are different colour of vegetables,

then there are different shapes, and more. So that is why this recipe is appealing for

teens and other people if they like to eat “NOODLES.”

Once you see the noodles,

you will be like “yummy!!”
