I was a Conservation star I take Quick showers. I turn off lights and appliances

that are not in use. I keep my windows closed when

the heat or conditioning is on. I don’t let the water run when

I’m brushing my teeth. I recycle products whenever

possible. I bring my own bag to the store. I find new ways to use old things I put litter in the trash. I encourage my family to

carpool. I walk or ride my bike whenever

possible instead of asking for a ride.

2-liter coke bottle

I thought that I could re-invent a two little coke bottle as a penguin. Rap black and white paper around the bottle until it look a penguin. Then put a plastic ball and glue it to the bottle. Then glue two goggley eyes to the ball. Finally glue two black wings to it and a yellow beck to the face.

The Three R’s

The first R stands for reduce meaning to reduce trash.

The second R stands for reuse meaning to reuse anything that can be reuse and not thrown away.

The last R stands for recycle meaning to recycle paper, plastic, tin, etc.

The R that I made up was replace meaning replace anything unneeded for what you are doing.

How I can help make a difference at:

Home: use thing that can be reuse more than once.

School: thought my recycling in the recycling bin.

Community: Pick up little that I see laying on the ground

If we recycled 1 ton

If we were to recycle half the worlds paper of acres we could save close to 20,000 million acres

If we did that ever year we could save 7,300,000 acres or more

If we recycled half the worlds paper

If we recycled half the world’s paper we would save close 43 million tons and that’s a lot of paper.
