Lessons Learned

Plan for failure

Amazon is not immune to network problems. But at least you have the means to react.

Automate, Automate, Automate

Benefits are greatest, when your infrastructure is completely automated. Think configuration and deployment too!

Eventual Consistency

Things are not always immediate. Sometimes it takes a while for resources to be available (again).

Use Reserved Instances!
