This graph appears that most of the people that I surveyed are in the age category of 15-21. Some others are in the other age categories, however I will still aim my magazine to the most popular age category.

What do you find most attractive in a magazine?

The results displays that no one is interested in a big masthead, some are interested in a celebrity on the front cover but the majority are interested in the cover stories. I will use this as part of my research to try and make the most interesting cover stories for my audience.

‘Faded blue’ is the most popular option, with ‘faded pink’ second and joint last with ‘faded green’ and ‘black & grey’. This expresses to me that most of my audience want a faded blue type background possible with faded pink features. I will try and include this within my work pleasing my audience.

How much would you be willing to pay for a good quality music magazine?

This is a fairly mixed graph not really displaying a median result, however regardless of this I am still going to charge my music magazine at £3.99 because through other primary research I have undertaken I have noticed that other music magazines such as my choice of inspiration ‘CLASH’ are priced at £3.99.

Most people from my survey would not like to read a magazine digitally, preferring hard copy. From my perception I produce hard copies in my manufacturing and will not bother investing money into ICT services to make a digital copy.

It is clear to see that all of my audience live inside ‘The Europe’. Which is easier for me to produce my magazine as it means that I only have to publish to one continent.

Although this graph is hard to understand it basically connotes that people are very interested in fil and that they are quite interested in music, so I will try and include throughout the magazine, other sectors of information about film and a bit about music.

Over half of my audience would not like to buy an annual subscription. This doesn’t have to stop me from offering this service. I have the option to offer it or not.

Which type of puff promotion would you expect to see in a music magazine?

The most popular choice of puff promotion is festival tickets’ which I will include on my front cover. I will choose a popular festival such as Reading or V-festival. The iTunes vouchers are still a popular choice, I could include it as a second choice. I will decide nearer the time.
