Joseph Banks (1743-1820) was an English traveller, animal and

plant breeder, but most of all a scientific promoter. His whole adult life was

directed toward the advancement of science.

CRASH ON THE GREAT BARRIER REEF. NEAR A

PLACE CALLED COOK TOWN THEY ALMOST

SPENT 7 WEEKS WHILE REPAIRING THE

ENDEAOUR.
