Invite Your Family & Friends to share in our worship experience!!
WELCOME TO JOURNEY CHURCH!
Thank you for spending your morning with us! Please join us
for fellowship, coffee and punch in the courtyard following the worship
services.
Our Traditional (Classic) Service - A structured worship service
filled with prayer, responsive readings, favorite hymns, music from
the Journey Church Chancel Choir and other artists, and teaching
from God’s word. We observe Communion (The Lord’s Supper) on
the first week of each month. Music is accompanied by piano and
saxophone.
Our Contemporary Service - A worship service filled with prayer,
sharing, occasional readings, contemporary songs, music from the
“JC Praise Band” and other artists, drama and teaching from God’s
word. We observe Communion (The Lord’s Supper) on the first
week of each month.
Fifth Sunday Service - On months with five weeks, the fifth Sunday
is a combined service at 10 am.
Children’s Bulletins and materials are available in the back of the Sanctuary.
Please stop by the Visitor Table
(located in the back of the Sanctuary). We can answer
your questions and give you a welcome gift.
We offer two different worship experiences at Journey Church.
We worship through all the elements of each service, recognizing God’s
working and presence in us, through us and around us.

If you buy a $30 ticket with our form, they will reverse $15 to
Powerhouse. Notice: Act immediately. Ask some friends to join you to
get one of the reserved group seatings. Or, if baseball is not your thing,
how about sending in a $30 check and write on the memo line “to be
donated for use by Powerhouse.”
Be prompt - deadline for ticket orders is Friday, August 31.
“Day at the Ballpark” fundraiser form is below or also available
in the church office.
Please plan to attend the All-Church Picnic
Sunday, August 26 at Folsom City Park (East Natoma & Stafford Streets, next to City Hall)
Grills will be ready to go at noon. Please bring your
own meat to grill and a dish to pass. Beverages will
be provided. We will have old-fashioned picnic
games including a three legged race, balloon toss, sack race and
maybe a pie eating contest! Stay as long as you wish as we have the
park reserved for the afternoon. Contact Robin Galbreath at 293-8773
with questions or see her in the courtyard.
