In honor of the bicentennial anniversary of the U.S. CONSTITUTION, the Main Library will have on display replicas of historical documents.

The Children's Department would like to welcome Penny Vellucci as our new Children's Librarian. Penny will work at our North Edison Branch as well as certain days at Main Library. 3 eggs1/2 c. milk1 No. 303 can pumpkin 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. allspice

1 c. flour 1/3 tsp. salt 1/3 c. shortening 1 c. sugar1/4 c. butter or margarine

Sift the flour and salt together, then blend in shortening until well mixed. Add just enough cold water to make a pliable dough. Roll out and line a deep 9-inch pie plate. Cream the sugar and butter, then add eggs and beat wel . Stir in the milk and mix well. Add the pumpkin and spices and mix thoroughly. Pour into the prepared crust. Bake at 400 degrees until crust begins to brown. Reduce temperature to 250 degrees and bake until filling is set and crust is golden
