JRES GIFTED & TALENTED GAZETTE
GETTING STARTED…
Welcome back! I am excited to see many of the students that
I was able to work with last year, and I love their enthusiasum and
excitement for getting together this year! I have some great ideas and
opportuniteis for our students, and can’t wait to get started. I am
expecting to begin GT and Primary Talent Pool classes by the
beginning of September. I will begin the testing process for some of
our new fourth grade students, and will hopefully have our groups
ready very soon. I will notify all family members of our newly
identified students via a letter home in the mail. I will be disucssing
with our teachers during PLC’s to recommend students that they feel
are showing gifted qualities. Our Summit committee will hopefully
meet at the end of August to discuss and accept new students to the
Gifted and Talented Program.
