Currently representatives of JSC "TGC-11" and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Government of the Omsk Region developed and submitted for approval the sub-program "Creating the industry of processing and use of coal combustion by-products in the Omsk Region“ to be included in the state program of the Omsk Region as a territorial subject of the Russian Federation called “Environmental protection of the Omsk Region”.

Currently representatives of JSC "TGC-11" and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Government of the Omsk Region developed and submitted for approval the sub-program "Creating the industry of processing and use of coal combustion by-products in the Omsk Region“ to be included in the state program of the Omsk Region as a territorial subject of the Russian Federation called “Environmental protection of the Omsk Region”.

Standard of Organizations: “Ash and slag materials from CHPPs of the JSC “TGC-11” for vertical planning of the areas, backfilling, curing the effects of subsoil use; reclamation of the worked-out pits”.

Expected impact of the project for the period 2014…2021:

Liquidation of the accumulated volumes of the environmental damage by reducing the amount of ash storage at the disposal areas to 24,858.0 tonnes (for the project period).

Reduction of the expected negative impact on the environment by preventing the expected environmental damage from production wastes disposal to 13,490.0 tonnes (for the project period).

Improving the efficiency of coal-fired power plants by reducing the expenses for production wastes disposal and income from the coal ash sale for the project period to 2878.4 million rubles.

In addition, the social problems relating to the region development are being addressed: •creating new jobs by opening new enterprises for by-products processing ; •reducing the cost of housing by using by-products in the manufacture of building materials; •development of transport infrastructure in the region through the use of by-products in a road construction; •restore a positive balance of environmental quality of the region.
