We extend to you an unique opportunity to join with like minded women and travel on our ‘Womens Only’ Tours to great destinations.

Our tours are designed by women for women. We purposefully keep our group numbers small (maximum of 16 plus tour guides) so that you can experience an enriching and unforgettable travel experience.

The size of our groups is one of the most unique aspects of our tour. It allows us to stay at small, exclusive hotels and dine at amazing restaurants. It allows us to participate in activities that larger groups can’t and it means we travel a lot faster! Imagine 50 people boarding the coach or trying to check in at a hotel… and now think of the experience when there is 16 or less! You would be surprised at how much time is lost each day just boarding transport.Who is a JTW (Jayes Travel Woman)? Anyone wanting to travel the world with a great group of ladies!

We cater for married, single, divorced and widowed women; mother and daughters, grandmothers and grand daughters; and our tours are great for girlfriend getaways. Some of the most popular feedback we receive is “my hubby doesn’t want to go there but I do!”If you are a little hesitant about travelling by yourself these tours provide a sense of security. It’s a great way to have a holiday and make new friends, sharing your adventures along the way.

At Jayes we don’t like to think of age as a restriction. If you want to see the world, you can have a laugh at yourself/with others and you are ready to experience new cultures, there is an ideal tour for you. But one of the questions we are regularly asked is the age of most JTW travellers. This does vary depending on the tour – our health retreats

JT Women?WhYtend to attend a younger market and our longer tours an older market. However roughly, the ladies are aged between 40-70 years. We are happy to disclose the age range of any tours you are interested in.

JTW tours strive to provide an unique experience to meet the needs of the modern day women – a balance of

organisation, pampering, fun and free time to explore new destinations.

Most importantly we strive to provide you with a JTW tour that is very inclusive and great value for money. We include ALL of your transport, at least a 4 star standard of accommodation throughout (unless specified) and at least 2 meals per day with restaurants hand-picked by our JTW tour designers.

We also include more sightseeing than other tours. We have little to no ‘optional excursions’. We know that in Venice you want to take a gondola ride, we know you will want to see a West End Show in London and we know you want to visit the Empire State Building in New York – so we include it all! When we mention a sight or attraction in the itineraries you can be assured we’ve included the entrance fees already for you.

You will be accompanied by one of our experienced and professional JTW leaders who is well travelled and has expert knowledge – all making your holiday as stress free and enjoyable as possible!

Another great feature of the tours are the included return transfers from your home address (Newcastle, Port Stephens, Central Coast and Sydney only). There is no need to worry about how you are getting to/from the airport.

Travelling alone? With a JTW tour if you are happy to share a room with someone you only pay the twin share rate. Or if you prefer your own room, a single supplement is available!

A JTW tour caters for everyone. When you compare the value there really is no other choice than Jayes Travel Women!

...JT WomenMaureen Gilbert

After travelling on our JT Women Bali Trip in October 2010, Maureen wrote to us:

“How good was our trip to Bali thanks to you at Jayes making things so easy for the likes of me who would not know where to start. Our accommodation at both the Ramada and the Waki Di Ume were completely different

as far as one was go go go and the later was so peaceful and relaxing which was sooo good before coming home!!! Our delightful and most helpful hostess Di Cox made it a very interesting trip with the knowledge and previous experience, she had wanting to make our trip one to remember by guiding us in the right direction at all times. I feel like I have made a friend in Di as well as the other girls as we all got on so well being a small group. We had so much fun together and saw so much as well as having our little personal chats.I hope I can have more adventurous travels with JTW in the near future and entice my friends to do the same.Thank you to both Jayes and Di for making it the best group holiday I’ve had.”

...Tour Designer’sLauren Ryan

As co-owner of Jayes Travel, a woman and a single traveller, I always experienced difficulty with booking my own travel. Although I’ve been in the travel industry for 7 years and am extremely well-

travelled, travelling alone can be overwhelming and stressful even for me. There is the unknown of ‘if I book on a tour, who will I share with? What if I don’t like that person? What if I’m surrounded by couples?’. And if I’m a travel agent and have these problems, there has to be hundreds of other women who have these same worries. Therefore we came up with the concept of JT Women. Women only tours, where you can share with someone you’ve met before you travel, and you have a tour guide to help you all the way. Totally stress free!I believe travelling should not only be about the destination, it should be about the friends you make along the way. The JT Women that travelled to Bali in October have caught up for a dinner a number of times since they have been home, and it’s lovely to hear that they have built a friendship and made travelling companions for life!I put a great deal of research into our tour itineraries and inclusions. Our idea is to include as much as possible before you travel. All the must-see sights, delicious meals, and of course, we still give you free time for shopping and relaxation. Our tours are designed by women, for women.

...Tour Guide’sDi Cox

I love to travel to learn new things through first hand experience and to keep growing as

a person. The world is such a diverse and amazing place that we now have the capacity to experience so much and appreciate the individual differences and the contribution of each culture to our history. I like being a

Tour Leader as I get to share this passion and the knowledge I have built up with others, meet new people and learn to look at things through the eyes of others.

This is followed by lunch at Chiang Dao Nest 2 – famed for its high quality cuisine. Here is an excellent photo opportunity as the restaurant offers fabulous views of the Chiang Dao Mountain. Did you know?

Norfolk was discovered in 1774 by Captain James Cook and destined to become a cruel convict penal colony.

HMS Sirius was the mighty flagship of the First Fleet. She was tragically wrecked on Norfolk’s reef, and artefacts were recovered to form a key part of their museum collection. Items range from massive anchors and cannons; to humble buttons and buckles worn by passengers and crew.

Local TraditionsA tradition handed down by Norfolk’s Tahitian foremothers, the art of weaving is still practiced on the island today. You can purchase handmade items such as hats and bags in shops or at the markets.
