Caohejing have three similar buildings connected by a large basement and shopping area. They wanted to design a lobby that would appeal to young technology companies who would feel that they could just move into the space without too many changes.
The concept for this space was an "urban oasis", which was realised by bringing in elements from the outside like planting and keeping all the colours very light and neutral. The overall result is a bright welcoming space.

KONE wanted a space that could not only feel luxurious, but also showcase their products to potential clients where they could not only see information about the products, but also use them whilst in the space.
The concept for this project was "people flow", which was brought in by using a lot of vertical elements to excentuate the sheer height of the space.
Godiva outgrew their current office and wanted to use this opportunity to both expand and update their branding to appeal to a younger, more dynamic crowd.
The design for this office was based on the long history of Godiva Chocolates and Lady Godi-va herself. Using the warm colour palette from their product packaging on both colours and textures throughout the space help to create an office that feels both luxurious and warm.

Overseas Student Living is an international company who helps students find accommodation in their desired country that they will be attending university.
They wanted an office that was bright and open with old Shanghai world character that they could bring potential parents to. The idea was to not take away from the character of the old factory building, but bring in the required functions of an office.

Amiee is a company that runs plastic surgery hospitals, internet platforms for cosmetic prod-ucts and also a financial institution. Looking at the company culture and products I came up with the concept of company DNA. This was incorporated throughout the space by using large graphics, patterns and textures on the floors, walls and ceilings.
This new Shanghai headquarters was used as the new branding and face of their company for future endeavors and establishments.

Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom were downsizing from their existing office and wanted to change from the old dark office environment they were used to. They enlisted my help to design them an office that was as luxurious as their previous premises, but in a much smaller space. Privacy was a big concern of theirs, but privacy with transparancy.

UBS wanted to take over an old heritage site in Xintiandi, Shanghai to not only be their new Shanghai VIP client office, but also to be a place where they can showcase some of their large art collection.
The challenge for this project was to design something that didn't take away from the beauty of the site, but could also be used as an office. Clients privacy was a large factor when coming up the schematic design.

There were three law firms that wanted to share office space, but whilst still keeping the visible line between each company. Care had to be taken with keeping access between each compa-ny, but also allowing the privacy required for clients from each firm.
The design for this office was an update from their old premises and to give it a new lease on life using a combination of warm materials and luxurious furniture. This project was completed in two phases, as it was a renovation and new lease takeover.

Mary Kay were taking over the whole building they were in, so this project was not only a ren-ovation, but a new and exciting headquarters to house all of their small offices throughout the city.
Folling the new Mary Kay branding I came up with the idea of large graphics that can be inter-changable throughout time to represent each new marketing campaign.

OrbiMed is an international medical insurance company who enlisted my help to design their new office in Shanghai. One of the requests from the client was to move away from the old way of office design where there is no transparency, but still being able to have client privacy when needed. Using this as a base for the design I played with things like light and material change to create a space that follows the need for privacy, but also can be completely trans-parent.

Global Village was the concept that was the main driver for this project. Looking at where Dentsu Aegis had come from and where they were planning on going I came up with the idea of bringing most of the cities they have offices into this one project, but downsizing into more of a village feel by using things like 1:1 scaled elevations from each cites and designing each floor to represent a different city.
Each floor was not only themed with a city, but was allocated a colour to be carried throughout the whole floor. Each floor had roads and streets leading to small neighbourhoods.
All of the core walls were utilised for different functions, including print stops (newsagencies) phonebooths, small meetings spaces (park benches), etc.

Canudilo menswear company was moving all of their small offices into one larger space cov-ering a floorplate of 12,000 sqm. They wanted an office that was young, vibrant with all the functions of a normal office, but that was a fun place for their staff to work. It was to be a home away from home.
The design also needed to stand up to important clients coming in daily. A good mix of mate-rials and spaces was used to create interest.
CANUDILO"a showcase for our brand"

The client wanted to build a private clubhouse on top of their office building that could be used to entertain both friends and clients a like. They wanted to keep a strong connection between the outside, so that while you were indoors you still felt like you were outside. Land-scape was added throughout the whole floorplate to help with this and to also create small private gardens for each space.
Facilities included were lobby lounge, tea lounge, private dining, cinema, gym, games room and two private suites.

The Minyin client enlisted my help to design their new headquarters after I had completed a few other projects for them. They wanted something that was fresh and modern, but not tak-ing away from the industry that were in, which was construction.
Building blocks was the concept for this office, which was realised by bringing in different levels on both the vertical and horizontal spaces.

This project consisted of two buildings that were similar in design style, but with different floor plates. The client wanted a design that would accentuate the height of the space, but staying very light and bright. Line and scale were brought into the space to achieve the clients re-quirements.
The scope was for the lobby design, lift lobby, public corridors, public washrooms and also a meeting centre.
VENTURE PARK"an international hub"

The Meijia client wanted to add a gallery, sales centre and VIP function area to their already existing office. They wanted to the space to feel luxurious, but with a more Chinese feel to it. This was achieved by using a combination of both rich soft materials, rough cold materials and also large stone. Special consideration was giving to the lighting effects throughout.
