Spanish Silver Piece-of-Eight of Charles IV, 1788-1808. Dat-ed 1797. 8 Reales. This would have been minted in Mexico. These were the earliest currency in Australia, with our Holey Dollar and Dump being made from these! 41 mm across.

VG, it has some paperwork with it saying Fine. It is worn, most of the lettering is still visible. The outer rim design is still visible.
