Those to remember in prayer… Joyce Anglin was moved 2 weeks ago to the Winchester Lodge facility here in Alvin, to undergo physical therapy. She is making slow, but steady progress.
Scott Allen is having a difficult time with his radiation and chemo treatments. He is dealing with a great deal of nausea and also with his blood pressure being quite low. Please keep Scott and Ann in your prayers.
Danny Lofton, the father of Adam Lofton,
who is Betty Shoemake's grandson-in-law, had
a number of biopsies taken on the masses in his
throat, which confirmed that he has Stage 4
Squamous Cell Carcinoma. He will be seeing
an oncologist and is expected to begin
chemotherapy and radiation very soon. There is
no plan to do surgery at this time.
Josh Oakley, Julie and Rayford’s nephew, continues to undergo IV treatments at home to fight a viral infection. The infection itself is not a threat to his transplanted heart, but the doctors are trying to keep his immune system from kicking in full force to fight the infection, which would put his heart at risk.
Jeff Mannon, the Morr is’ son-in-law, had
gallbladder surgery this past Tuesday and it
went very well. He is at home recuperating.
Betty Chapel’s son Vince, r emains in the
hospital in ICU as he recovers from the bacterial
infection in his leg. He has shown much
improvement and had another surgery this past
Thursday, which went very well. He will need
to heal before the skin graft can be done.
Holly Adamson, Melanie’s cousin, was placed
under Hospice care this past Wednesday.
Please keep her and her family in your prayers.
