Meet the Interns
Becca Bolen
1. Why did you want to intern with GCEMS?
I wanted to be an intern because I took the high school
EMT class and wanted to put all the things I learned to
work.
2. What are your future plans?
I will be attending CU Boulder this fall. I will major in
integrated physiology and eventually go to medical
school to become a doctor.
3. What is something you’ve already learned from your
time here?
GCEMS is one big family and I’ve learned how to detail
cars really well.
4. What else are you looking forward to learning?
I am looking forward to getting on a crew and learning
everything about patient care and experiencing so many
different things
5. If you could chose one superhero power, what would
it be and why?
Super speed because I wouldn’t waste any time getting
from place to place.
We have four interns with us this summer. Faith and Becca just completed the EMT
class this year and will be with us until they go to college. Reilley and Caitlin are
office interns. Please make sure to help them feel welcomed and to thank them for
their hard work this summer.
Faith Stein
1. Why did you want to intern at GCEMS? I wanted to find a job that allowed me to learn about something I have a passion for and interning here offered the perfect opportunity to do just that. 2. What are your future plans? I plan on attending Metro. State in Denver in the fall to study Criminal Justice and Criminology. While there I hope to do a work study at the campus heath center to further my skills in the medical field. 3. What is something you've learned from your time here? To never be afraid to ask questions. I've learned so much just by asking simple questions. 4. What else are you looking forward to learning? I'm looking forward to learning how properly drive emergent. 5. If you could choose one superhero power what would it be and why? If I could choose one super power it would have to be super intelligence. With super intelligence I could create the cure for any illness, build almost any machine, and create devices that would allow me to have other super powers as well.
Caitlin Davis
1. Why did you want to intern with GCEMS?
I wanted to inter with GCEMS because I have a love for helping
people and I want to be an EMT someday and to get there you have
to start somewhere.
2. What are your future plans?
In the future I would love to be in the program ROTC with the
Army to continue to be a combat nurse or to be in the Marines.
3. What is something you’ve already learned from your time here?
I have learned a lot about how EMS works and how each of the
trucks are stocked.
4. What else are you looking forward to learning?
I would love to learn how certain scenarios go and what to pay at-
tention to, as I have already watched a few trainings.
5. If you could chose one superhero power, what would it be and
why?
I would chose flying because no matter what you have the control
to go anywhere you want.
